Senior Life Insurance Company of Thomasville, Georgia has to be the leading candidate for worst life insurance company on the planet.  After 30 years of personal experience in sales and management working in various markets in the life insurance business I decided to slow down a bit.  I then realized how much I missed helping people and decided to return to final expense sales and happened upon this company.

Senior Life Insurance Company "talked" a lot about integrity.  I submitted my information directly to their Georgia home office and shortly was contacted by someone from Visalia, California (my state) and he said he was the manager for all of California and also had Nevada.  He promised to "take good care of me" and was so glad I was coming on board because he had some 100 leads he would start me out with - right in my backyard.

He had scheduling conflicts for about a week-and-a-half, then said in order to train me I had to drive approximately two hours to meet with him in Turlock, where he had a boat-load of leads he needed to work. I drove the nearly two hours, waited for 30 minutes as he was late, we met, he shared a bunch of stuff about SENIOR LIFE, and we set out to see old leads he tried before to see and they weren't home.  Again this day, they weren't home.  Nothing was accomplished.

What I did learn from this genius State Manager as I drove around Turlock for a couple of hours, was that he had about one-and-a-half years experience in final expense sales with Lincoln Heritage Life Insurance Company. That was it. He claimed to be a financial planner but when checking his background, he had two bankruptcies within a short period, and committed securities fraud by borrowing nearly $200,000 from investment clients - which he was doing before Lincoln Heritage. Whooops, not legal. Some of the clients didn't get paid back. He lost his life insurance license for a year except to market small funeral policies - which he did for Lincoln Heritage. They hired him even after his securities fraud disaster.  That tells you something about Lincoln Heritage, right? (Second shittiest life company on the planet).

Sales Manager Genius learned the grass was greener somewhere else. He said he was "picked" by Senior Life.  THIS is the kind of sales manager SENIOR LIFE wants?  It makes sense now. Unfortunately, shortly after getting contracted with SENIOR LIFE, I was fighting a serious allergy problem which ended up to be a lung infection. All of this was shared with my new State of California Manager. Other than his call once or twice to check on me, and some texts to ask when I was going to write some business, I made it clear my uncontrolled coughing would keep me out probably another week.

My sales kit came in on the FIRST of the month. This small box of starter supplies, plus paying my own appointment fee with the state ... COST ME NEARLY $100!  This should have been a red flag. State Manager Genius told me the company was a little cheap. The company sales convention was going to be held in Georgia someplace, but mostly because, as he stated it, the old man is just hanging on (cancer, I think), and the son broke his back (possible ski accident). This is a family run enterprise, run by old man Powell and his son Dale, and a bunch of old funeral insurance policy peddlers who put their money together to form the company and to keep it floating. This I learned from the State Manager of California, former financial planner, SECURITIES FRAUD and twice BANKRUPTCY guy, who could only get a final expense license while sitting out for a year as punishment for committing a boo boo ...  a very serious boo boo.

NOW here is the real funny part.  The head of the LICENSING DEPARTMENT, Nicholas Murray. sent me a termination letter 27 days after I received my little box of $100 supplies (see above). I guess if you have a lung infection and cough too much to go see people ... or don't respond to useless phone calls or answer annoying texts from your genius California State Manager for SENIOR LIFE INSURANCE COMPANY ... YOU GET FIRED!

When I asked the family of the Powell's in their stately Georgia home office (genius told me much of the Powells's family work there, probably inbreds), first they thought it was because I had to sell something every 30 days or get terminated. Well, it's been less than 30 days from receiving my start-up supplies. Also, nothing says this in their 12 page contract. Then I learn it was because I didn't answer all those annoying texts from genius, asking me when, if ever, I'm going to sell something. I DID let him know I went to the Dr, and then to the hospital clinic, and needed another week. This genius manager must have needed my commission over-ride badly. Sad, really, because he told me he left Lincon Heritage with a bunch of "their" leads, and Senior Life just did a mailing for some previous manager they decided to fire. Genius had plenty of leads for himself. If only he knew how to sell them.

TIME RAN OUT FOR THIS OLD TIMER.  Genius needed me to sell something NOW.  And I ... almost forget. Those 100 leads he gave me to work? Genius lied. He only gave me TEN! Said there were a few more, but I would have to buy them at around $30 a piece.  Of the ten leads I was given, most were 2,3, even 4 months old. And despite my coughing (a.k.a. lung infection) I called the ten leads anyway for an appointment and one said her husband passed away a few weeks ago, one was in the hospital with breathing problems (how ironic), several lacked phone numbers ... terrific leads!

I finally concluded SENIOR LIFE INSURANCE COMPANY IS THE SHITTIEST LIFE INSURANCE COMPANY ON THE PLANET when I received a letter from Nicholas Murray, Manager of their Licensing Department, who said "I" owe SENIOR LIFE $26.25 for being terminated! Earlier, the inbreds couldn't explain why I was fired, and listed on my termination letter a debt of $26.25.  I explained I "paid" for my supplies, was "given" 10 lousy leads, and had no charge-back because I have been ill and haven't sold anything. I was promised they would look into it. Yeah, they'll promise anything.

There is NO INTEGRITY with Senior Life. The notion they are Christians falls short when they treat people like they did me.

AND when you run quotes for final expense insurance against dozens of companies, SENIOR LIFE INSURANCE COMPANY has the HIGHEST rate for final expense life insurance.  In other words, SENIOR LIFE comes in DEAD LAST.

And that's how it should be.

Thanks for listening.

Check your Vector, they are terminating agent contracts and filing fraudalent Vector reports.  They get you on the way in and they get you again on the way out.  I'm conctacting everyone I know/can and asking that we get together, hire and attorney and file a class action lawsuit against Senior Life Insurance Company and put them out of everybody's misery once and for all!
