Serta Mattress Serta would not honor their 10 year warranty of a unsleepable mattress, I feel we were bully by them after we file a complaint with The Attorney General of The Sated of Illinois and they still refused to honor their warranty!zd Hoffman Estates Illinois

 We purchased a Serta  Perfect Sleeper from a furniture company, in less than a year of purchase the mattress had sink holes.  My husband and I woke up with back, hip and shoulder pain. I'm not worry  because we had a ten year warranty. I contacted Serta, got a letter telling us to mail $35 dollar for a inspector to come out. However we find ther is no inspectors in the Clarksdsle Ms area. We did not get I $35 back and Serta had my husband to measure the mattress( he is not an inspector) and said it did not meet standard of the warranty, so we are stuck with a$900 mattress.  I worte  a compliant letter to The Attorney General of Illinois( Lisa Madigan) who in so many words said we could do nothing but take Serta to small claim court, Is that why Serta is getting away with what they are doing to the  consumers?? They have the "Big Lawyer" to go to small claim court.   We are out of  $900 for a Perfect Sleeper$35 for an inspector and $325 for a replacement mattress.  Now the hassel of the court system. Our govement has a Consumer Protection Dividion, protecting the consumers or the compaines tha rip off consumers??
