Service Net Solutions, LLC, seems to specialize in deceiving consumers about their so-called "extended service contracts."  Customer service reps are trained not to go off-script; supervisors have no supervisory authority; senior customer service personnel instruct subcontractors not to contact clients or to file any reports that would impose service and/or fiscal liabilities upon Service Net Solutions. 

I purchased a KitchenAid KUDS02SRSS dishwasher in January 2006.  On April 6, 2009, the dishwasher failed, and it has been out of service for a total of 125 days since then. 

Service Net Solutions, LLC, has dispatched two separate subcontractors on 3 service claims; each sub found the same problem and ordered the same parts.

Under Paragraph 19 of Service Net Solutions' own contract, the company is contractually bound to replace the machine if a 4th service call is required on the same part AND if a 4th claim number is generated for that service call.

This is where they are magic.  The dishwasher has not worked since November 3, yet they define every service call as a "rework" in order to avoid generating that all-important 4th claim number.  Their intent is obviously to run out the clock on the service contact and settle for pennies on the dollar.

Service Net Solutions is obviously engaged in deceptive trade practices, making promises it has no intention of keeping.  In fact, when pressed, the manager of the subcontractor -- who has been forbidden by Service Net Solutions to contact me, by the way, "just in case" -- told me in plain English that he was specifically directed NOT to order the necessary replacement parts or to schedule a follow-up.  Instead, he was told, Service Net would dispatch a new (that is, a THIRD) subcontractor for a "second opinion."

Of course, Service Net did no such thing. 

If you are offered an extended warranty, please ask if it is administered by Service Net Solutions, LLC, and if it is, DO NOT BUY.  You might just as well apply this rule to anything associated with Maytag, since Maytag cannot help but be aware that over 500 complaints have been filed with Service Net Solutions with the Better Business Bureau in just the past 3 years.
