Servpro of Bowling Green/West Lucas Co. Did not service as promised Holland Ohio

Basement flooded after heavy rains.  I used Rug Doctor rentals to extract water, but smell and mold were prevalent, so called Servpro to come out for restoration.  They were quick to respond and brought a dozen industrial floor fans and two large dehumidifiers out the next day to help dry out basement.  They told us that they would be wiping down everything and spraying a chemical that would disinfect and prevent mold growth.  They asked that we put furniture on sliders so they could move it when they came back to get equipment.  They also quoted us a cash price for a 12% discount, which we accepted.  WHen they returned to take equipment, they did spray something, but they did nothing else and the furniture was not moved, so they couldn't have wiped things down or sprayed all of the carpeting as promised.  I was not home when they came, but had left money with my mom.  When they asked for the money, they were not prepared to offer a receipt, so she would not pay.  So, the guy went to the car and wrote down a few things on letterhead and marked the amount paid.  When I got home, all that I could tell initially was that the furniture was not moved and that there was a different smell.  The smell lasted a day or so and returned to a musty odor and mold began growing in numerous places.  I have called and e-mailed and have not gotten a reponse for over two weeks now.  I will be finding a different place to submit a review everyday until I do.

Bottom line, I would definately recommend that you not use this company, but if for some reason you have to based on insurance recommendations, make sure that you get everything that they promise in writing.  They have standard documentation that vaguely lists their services, so anything outside of that was not done, even though they promised to do so.
