It would be ARBITRARY if your taxes or insurance haven't gone up or aren't anticipated to increase.

It would NOT be ARBITRARY if they did this and the escrow account would have been deficient when these items are due, had they not done so.

I guess you would rather they NOT increase your payment to cover these things and just bill you a lump sum amount when due.  You can't have it both ways.

I don't know the terms of your contract and how any "overage" is applied.  Read it or ask them.

If they ARE as disreputable as you say, file a complaint with your state's attorney general and notify the FTC and the BBB....see if they agree with you....NOT.
