A friend of mine started working for Shaun Michael at their Ontario, CA branch and set up an interview for me. I really needed a job and I had just graduated with a degree in Theatre so talent scouting sounded like fun. Their office was small and the classes were unimpressive but I didn't complain since I just needed the money. After about a month, I realized I didn't want to work for a talent company any more and decided to quit. I had not yet received a previous pay check since they said they were having trouble with the bank. I kept working for two more weeks thinking that they would eventually pay me. When I left, Shaun said he would mail me my last two pay checks (the only one I had ever received was hand written from Shaun himself). I never got a check in the mail and kept calling and emailing but never got a response. A few months later I went on their website and saw that the company was being charged with fraud. I mailed in all my info to the state saying I had never been paid. Nothing ever happened and I never got any money from Shaun Michael.
