 First off thank you for not calling me an idiot. I have read about 15 different Elantra forum sites. MSRP IS what everybody around the country has been paying for the 2012 Elantras as they are in high demand right now. I'm thinking for the advertised 40 MPG. If you go to Hyundais site and spec the car out and build it with what you want in it and what i got in it it is $23, 335. So I guess I didn't pay exactly MSRP after all. HA! to the person who called me an idiot!  lol It's not like I buy or sell cars for a living to be an expert at it.  This is been keeping me awake at night thinking about all this. very bothered about it. Here is the breakdown on the numbers. APR 3.44%, Finance charge, $2,482.07. amount financed, $21,328.18. Total of payments, $23,810.25. So that's $317.47 x 75 (not 72) months. My question was if the 317 x 75 equals the total...WTH is the $5200? Any logical insight would be appreciated.

Since selling and buying cars is not my business I am not the expert here. I have a receipt for the cash that was given to them. and what...can't be changed now. And I did read the contract...did i understand it in it's entirety? Guess not. My bad. Did they explain where my down payment went...NO...their bad. They lost a customer for life. And if you had done any research on the Elantra , as I have, EVERYBODY in the last 6 months HAS paid MSRP just as I did. Guess WE ARE ALL IDIOTS. Guess not everybody can be a smart as you :)
