On Monday 2-15-10 Shell started accepting the Kroger Plus Card for 10 cent discount on gas..I did a little test on Tuesday 2-16-10 just to see if this was the case...Well sure enough it did give me a 10 cent discount HOWEVER, I noticed that at the 5 Shell Daily's stores it stopped at the price for Plus unleaded that I buy was anywhere from 19 cent to 23 cent higher than any other station on the street (BP Exxon) Who are usually 13 cent higher for plus than regular so now lets see if Shell is selling the same for 23 cents higher than Exxon and they give me a 10 cent discount that equals the same price as any other place on the street.....HELLO These people at Daily's seem to think that people are stupid and will not figure out their scam. The only way that you would really save is if you buy the Reg gasoline and the street price is the same as others on the marque sign...If you will notice Shell only displays Reg UL gas prices on the street now....

Where I am

AUTHOR: Bubba Lee - (Canada)

POSTED: Friday, February 19, 2010

Where I am every brand has a Customer loyalty card system and if you don't use it you loose out. The advertised price at the place I buy my fuel is higher than the pump price and if you don't have your loyalty card they are suposed to charge the higher price.

The point is we make our decisions based on many things not just price so get over it.

As long as they advertise and do what they say it's not a scam or rippoff, its just higher prices.

Now Daily's has moved regular unleaded street price up 10 cents above competition

AUTHOR: Nashville tn - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Thursday, February 18, 2010

I noticed today while passing Daily's convenience stores in Nashville that they have now moved their street price for unleaded gasoline 10 cents above competition so now if you use your Kroger Plus Card you get to pay what all the other stations on the street are selling for....Come on Daily's are you people that STUPID. I for one will not give Shell or Daily's any more of my business and will share this information with anyone that I come in contact with....
