Show customers why they should trust your business over your competitors...

Online purchase made Jan 30th 2010. Feb 16th order not received so first email sent enquiring about the order.

Feb 17th received a response that parcel was shiped Feb 12th.

Feb 27th again I email to say poarel still has not arrived and request tracking information to start a trace. No response.

March 3rd newsletter arrives from company so I email again requesting information. No response.

Complaint filed with Maryland Better Business Bureau. Again tried to contact the company to get information and ask for someone to have the courtesy to respond to my email.

March 11th I received an email saying package was shipped February 24th, 12 days after they had shipped it the first time supposedly!

Credit card was billed February 26th. Now almost end of June I still don't have the package and all my attempts to get a response from this company are being ignored. They have my money, but will do nothing to help me locate the parcel they say they have sent out. They cannot, or will not, provide proof of mailing.

I feel your pain!

I am a recent customer of this business and I have not been to happy. I first purchased items from ebay, and the shipping was super slow. However, I got a free shipping voucher from them that I assume they send to everyone who buys off ebay, as I have gotten it with both orders. The voucher could only be used at the personal business website an dyou had to spend at least twenty dollars.  

I ended up spending 26$ after free shipping was applied. Thinking that since I am purchasing directly from website, and it states that they usually ship same day, I figured shipping would be faster. How wrong I am. I am still waiting for item to ship and it is a full 3 days since order was placed. I have also emailed about when I can expect this to ship.... and no response. 

To some 3 days is not that long, but given my history with them, and that it states they usually ship same day.. I beg to differ. Also I use these items for my business so delivery time affects my pocket.

The prices are great, it's sad the customer service is not.

I just want to say that I agree with what the consumer 'Attny at Law' wrote about this company.  I, too  have been dealing with Shelly's Buttons and More for a long time and not only do they have the best prices, I always receive my order FAST.  I have nothing negative to report about this company.  I'm sure there is a story behind the 1 and only negative report.

I am a consumer that reluctantly came across this posting.  Although I personally am not affiliated with this company in any respect other than 'a normal customer' I can honestly say that I have dealt with this company for 10+ years on a continual basis and I have never had a problem. Being a consumer that deals with the public I understand that you can satisify many customers over the years but if 1 customer has a negative opinion and chooses to voice that opinion it can ultimately, unfairly damage the reputation of a company. I can not speak for anyone other than myself but I can honestly report that my profession requires me to act according to the fairness of the law and in my dealings with this company I have never had a negative experience.

I don't normally waste my time with such postings.  However, I needed to look for a specific item today and while 'searching the web' I came across a negative posting and felt the need to say this:  To my knowledge this company has been in business for 10+ years and with regards to my personal dealings they have been nothing but honest, reliable and consistant.  Don't allow 1 bad apple to spoil the entire bushel.
