Where to start. Firstly, Sheri is someone who lives to harass and intimidate people. When she couldn't intimidate me, she called in her husband to try. It didn't work. Let me start at the beginning.

I ordered karaoke discs through Sheri on a certain auction site which shall remain nameless.

I ordered a Christmas gift from sherinhouston (auction id) on Nov. 8, 2005. On that same day, I ordered from 4 other auction vendors, including one in England. Everything has arrived except for Sheri's items. I wrote her a note (I will copy and paste here for your enjoyment):

Sheri - we have never received this item. Please give me an update. If I don't hear from you by the 5th, I'll be forced to contact Paypal regarding non-shipment. Thanks, LeAnn


It wasn't rude, just directly to the point. I'm a seller on xxxx. I know that there are all sorts of tools that allow you to alert your customers when you ship a product. Some of these are AUTOMATIC. Here is the reply I got back:

Can xxxxxxx possibly communicate WITHOUT threats? That so immature. There's no reason for that. How about "Sheri, I haven't received this item. Can you please check up on it for me?" Is there something terribly that wrong with a nice email? You do realize the post office IS a factor in the mailing of this item do you not? You do realize I don't drive the item to your home. My goodness. I'll check with the post office on Tuesday when I go and see what I can find out. I do have it tracked for a reason and I have that receipt. In the meantime, if you feel the need to run to momma xxxxxx, you know. whatever. I get really tired of dealing with xxxxx who can't communicate without idle threats and think for some reason though we've done business in the past that I suddenly just decided to keep your money KNOWING that all you have to do is contact xxxxxx and get it back anyhow. So where is the logic? I know you didn't mean anything by it, but you know, think before some of the emails you leave. It's just as important as a customer to be decent as it is for the seller.

Please keep in mind, I gave this woman $59.99 plus $8.99 for shipping some karaoke cd's. If she hadn't been so unrational about this, I would have probably just let it go. So, I wrote back:

Just a hint, Sheri - try sending the tracking information. I did that with all of my customers and guess what? They knew when their items were sent and they had the means to actually contact the PO, UPS or DHL for information on their goods. If there was a problem that those companies couldn't solve, they could contact me. You sent me no information. I had no idea you had shipped it. For all I knew, you DID take the money and run. It's happened many times before.

Ebay gives you 30 days to get the item to me. We are fast approaching that deadline. xxxx also gives you the tools to send your customers the information necessary to track their packages. Your use of those tools could have kept me from having to write this email at all. For you to go off on me for YOUR mishandling of this shipment is completely unprofessional.

The funny part is you called me immature. Go and reread your email. It sounds like something that a teenager throwing a temper tantrum would write. If you are going to sell items on Ebay, it's time to start acting like an adult.

You know she couldn't resist, right? Ok, here she is:

Why would I take your money and run and STILL sit here and sell on xxxx??? That's ridiculous and makes no sense. That's a response of insecurity more than it is logic. I'm sorry if it has happened to you before, but suppose you consider the WHO in the past and not someone who runs 2 auctions a week.

The bottom line is, you and I both know that you can simply go to xxxxxx and if the item hasn't been sent, they will simply give you your money back. Knowing this, I coudn't profit from taking your money if I wanted to could I? Let me answer that for you. um, NO. I couldn't.

It's not even been three weeks. I understand you get 30 days. But you also have to understand and I reitterate, the POST OFFICE IS PART OF THE EQUATIONS, NOT JUST ME. There was no mishandling of shipment by myself. Where on EARTH do you get that? THe mishandling perhaps by the POST OFFICE as I keep telling you, but NOT ME.

Just becuase I don't take 12 hours out of each auction (24 it would take in a week) to notify every customer the tracking number doesn't make me suddenly a thief or a bad ebayer at all. Not everyone does and not everyone has that kind of time. It's very simple. IF YOU DO NOT GET YOUR ITEM, YOU NOTIFY THE SELLER and THEN, something can be done. You don't have to notify them with threats and all kinds of nonsense. THAT is unprofessional. It isn't unprofessional just because YOUR expectations of getting a tracking number mailed to you didn't get fulfilled. xxxxbelieve it or not doesn't revolve around each customer. Every seller has their own way of doing things and mostly it is what they CAN do, not what they are willing to do. I simply do not have the time to email 600 eBayers a week with tracking numbers. That is what you don't seem to get or understand. I waste enough time (about 3 hours a day) simply in responding to emails.

And no, I did not call you immature. I simply stated that you made a very immature statement. It is very immature to email someone with threats to go tell mommy on them if they don't get their way don't you think? If not, perhaps you and I are on different plateaus here.

This ALL seems to be getting pushed forward into some kind of debate simply because you emailed me with such a threat and can't seem to simply be decent and ask what may have happened to your item. I'm POSITIVE judging already by your character you've displayed thusfar, if someone emailed you with a similar email, you'd have blown a rocket head.

I simply said there is no need to email someone with "IF YOU DON"T GET ME MY d**n ITEM, I"M GOING TO GO TELL ON YOU" and that perhaps you can be a bit more mature and understanding that the issue can simply becaused by a third party as in the U.S. Post office and NOT EVERYONE on xxxx is going to send you a tracking number. Maybe you can be a bit responsible and simply inquire with an email about your item before you start becoming judgemental and argumentative.

This entire issue right now stems on that action you made. There's no use in that. It all stems from your unfair expectations obviously of receiving a tracking number. Just because you don't sell that many items and can afford that extra time to do so doesn't mean everyone has that luxury OK?

However, I did just check the tracking number and guess what? It's now showing as received by the post office, so once again, I will go on Wednesday and check it out for you and then I'll let you know.

Thank you, please don't have a heart attack. Not everyone on eBay is out to steal from you.

Please note that she said she had a tracking number. She writes on this auction site that she didn't use a tracking number the first time. What's the truth? Truth + Sheri don't go together.

Sheri has sent me COUNTLESS abusive emails and she got my personal information from this auction site so that she could have her husband call in order to try to intimidate me.

The company above ended up refunding my money because Sheri didn't send out the merchandise. On the day that the decision came through, Sheri popped the merchandise into the mail and then reported my actions as fraud to this company. I refused the shipment and sent it back to her. I'm sure she'll never receive it - because SHE is the thief. s

Sheri has some deep-seated psychological problems. If someone says something that she doesn't like, she'll spend all of her time writing nasty emails to that person. I got at least five of them last night, plus the phone call. RUN from her!!!
