Sheridan Labs Equinox, RVTL Wrinkle Cream Cannot get refund for products not ordered even after returned Sparks Nevada

On 11/6/2013 saw ad on Facebook advertising Equinox trial bottles for $4.95 each for Equinox and RVTL with 30 day guarantee.  Placed order on Citi Bank credit card.  Fine print indicated must cancel within 14 days of purchase.  Received product 11/14, cancelled 11/18.

On 12/16 called Citi Bank to check balance and discovered charges of $93, $99.00, $2.79, $2.97 made on 11/23.  Charges of $99.95, $105.95, $2.99 and $3.17 made on 12/11.  Informed Citi Cards I did not order products and to put amounts in dispute.

Again contacted Equinox and spoke with Leon Nixon who agreed to refund unauthorized purchases upon receipt of products. 

When I received additional products on 12/20, I took the items to post office and returned items.

Received response from Citi Bank dated 2/4 that Equinox refuses to refund sums as I did not cancel within 14 days.  Since I made phone call, I have no proof of cancellation.  However, Leon Nixon indicated on my record that on 12/16 he agreed to a full refund.

Citi Cards agent placed conference call to Equinox on 2/14/2014 and spoke with a "Mike Brown" who stated that they had been willing to refund but because I contaced Citi Card they are now refusing to issue refunds.

Citi Card takes the position that merchants can refuse to issue refunds and they will not help me any further.

They also take the position that merchant does not have to notify me that this is a foreign company and that there is a foreign transaction fee of 3% involved.
