Shift Management, INC SMI Built and sent wrong transmission, sent another wrong transmission, 4 weeks later sent correct unit, refused warranty claims Sacramento California

I have been in the auto repair business for 43 years, and an instructor for 25 years. I used Shift Management for 20 plus years. 50 plus rebuilds with no problems. Then in 2015 1 failed immediatley(it went a 1/4 mile), and they sent another so I filed a warranty claim with them following there procedure, they claimed the bookeeper was sending a checkat the end of the month. I ordered another transmission for another customer vehicle. When it arrived it appeared correct. I installed it and found the speedometer inoperative, I traced it to the lack of a speedometer drive gear on transmission tailshaft, in fact it was a tailshaft for a different vehicle. I called them explained problem and they said ok we'll send you the correct one. So I removed the transmission and waited. 6 days later another transmission showed up, this one was for a truck 10 years earlier than the one I was working on and it wouldn't fit. I again called them up. they said oh sorry about that we'll send another.8 days later another trans shows up, correct unit but shift shaft was wrong one, so I called them up they said swap it over. So I did. Installed the 3rd transmission test drove it no problems but I now have 3 transmissions, original core, wrong trans 1 and wrong trans 2. I file a labor claim like I did with previous warranty failure. 2 months later they called and asked about the core, and I said what about the 2 rebuilt transmissions and the 3 warranty claims I had filed. Kyle says he'll get right back to me. 2 months later they call again about sending the trannies back, and I respond what about the labor claims, kyle says he'll get right back to me but I should send in the labor claims again, I fax them oversame day. No further contact, and the next 10 phone calls they just hung up when they found out who was calling. Warranty is worthless. Quality is very low. I assume it was a change of ownership but still this company is a RIP OFF. STAY AWAY.
