My fairly new AOC monitor screen lighting failed. I could make out the yahoo home page dimly on the black screen. My son who is a ET assure me I had a bad back light power supply. I had also
checked on line and learned bad capacitors on the back light powers supply could do
that. I bought a identical power supply from shopjimmy.com and spent a few minutes installed it. The screen flickered and the lighting failed again. I did all their email requests for more information and got a shipping label to returned it. They had a replacement come in stock while it was being shipped back and offered to send it instead of a refund. I was told it was bench tested. I wanted the part and was happy to have one coming. When I got out of the hospital the shipment was waiting for me. I made a video of me getting it out of the box and installing it. The screen flickered and the lighting failed about 8 minutes later. I don't think they ran a load test. I decided I was done with jimmyshop.com and I would cut my loses. I still have the monitor in storage, the video I might post on youtube.

Hello,

We are very sorry that you had this problem with the part you ordered from us.  Sometimes we can bench test an item for days and as soon as it gets delivered it will short out, there should be something in Murphy's Law about consumer electronic parts!  I would like the chance to make this right for you, you should not have to cut your losses, if we sent you a defective part we will refund you in full.
