I'll keep this as a letter to the editor style of entry.

There is no company here. ShopnTown.com does not function as a website or service as advertised nor has it ever. No one at the alleged "company" is trying to start a profitable service or company as advertised to its investors.

I attended a number of "investor meetings" and witnessing the saddest display of a couple of people pitching something they know nothing about to a bunch of easily fooled people. Upon asking them about the technical aspects of running a website, or a business of any kind for that matter, their pitch fell completely apart. It became very clear to me, almost immediately, that this "company" is nothing more than a simple scam. The key word they used often was patent. Ooh...the magical patent.

That's right. My official opinion here is that this "company" is a front for a bunch of patent squatters who are simply interested in scamming wannabe investors of their money to cover legal costs to go after companies using very weak legal arguments for patent infringements. The idea isn't to win...that's simply too hard. The idea is to settle to save on time and legal fees for the company which would normally win. The fact of the matter is that ShopNTown is going after companies who did what they were too lazy, stupid, and greedy to do themselves. Scams really irritate me. Scams which take advantage of my family members irritate me a lot.

Criminals who do terrible things to children and have no remorse for anything, includin g stealing from people, irritates me a LOT. The worst part of the whole thing is that from the moment I was in the same room as Walter Rinebold, I knew something was off with that guy. Now I know what that was. His actions are inexcusable and I can only hope the people involved get the justice they seek. I also hope that the investors can get their money back from this scam of a company which was sold to them fairly convincingly.

I am glad to hear that someone else took over the company. I am happy that the people that are investing in this company are being treated fairly now. As to your "FACTS", it is a shame that walter was able to deceive you also. I am the ex daughter in law, the mother of the child he molested. i have been involved in this company since day one. I saw the way Walter would spend his money, or i should say the investers money. So if you want the facts i will give them to you and being that i have been there through it all should say i would know more then you. you have a one sided story from Walter well here is the other side. It is true that Walter has run many different companies. They all went under. He in FACT lost his mothers house because of said companies. She in FACT had to move into a one bedroom apartment with Walter, his girlfriend, and their two kids. He in FACT would spend investors money like it was water. I have seen with my own eyes how he would go to the bar EVERYDAY and drink, he would also by house rounds. I was a witness to him spending over 1000 dollars in one night. He literally was handing out 100 dollar bills. To people he didn't even know. When the accusations of molesting his granddaughter came out, he went out and bought all the grandkids computers. That way people would take his side. When he got arrested, at that time, he had spent everything and was working on more investors. So to get him out of jail which was 10,000 dollars, he signed over 10,000 shares of shopntown stock to a woman that worked at a grocery store in exchange for 5,000 dollars that she won gambling. That was how he was able to get out of jail the first time. Walter was indeed convicted of 3 counts of child molestation. During the sentencing, Walter and his attorney (how he paid them is still a mystery, no job?) express how imperative it was that he stay out of jail due to his involvement with shopntown.com. They said he needed to be out because he is a consultant with the company and if he went to jail the company would die. So how much involvement does Walter really have? If you look back through all the stocks that Walter signed over, most of them were to family. Don't you think it is weird that he would sign over 100,000 of shares to his ex wife, the grandmother of my daughter? If this company is doing so well, were is my money? I hold 100,000 share of stock also.I have the certificate.I have had it for 8 years and have never seen a penny. I would assume that with how Walter is, he covered up the stock because I was not going to allow him to get away with hurting anymore children. If what you say is true, and you are the president, then I really hope your doing a better job running this company then Walter did.

In response to your rip-off report concerning Walter Rinebold. The first bit of information you should all be aware of is that Walter Rinebold is NOT the president of the company and has not been for several years. At one time Bob Deeds was the president but in the last year that has also changed. I am now the president of ShopNTown, LLC and we now have a governing board of managers that makes all of the decisions regarding the company. I am in charge of all of the money that is spent by ShopNTown, LLC and I am solely responsible for the company checking account. I started off as an investor in the company and I still have substantial funds invested in the company. I am confident with the direction the company is headed and I am also confident that any investor in the company will see a substantial return on their investment. As for the charges against Walter Rinebold, it is the company's stance to let the court system work that out. Walter will have his day in court and whatever that outcome is, it will not affect ShopNTown at all. I will not deny that there have been some accusations as far as misuse of funds, but none of that has been subtantiated. At the current time it is all hearsay and circumstantial. What I can assure you is that any money that is currently spent, is being spent to benefit the company. As president of the company, I can guarantee any investor that the company is in good hands and moving forward.
