Shopper Drug Mart Return Policy North york, Ontario

I have purchased two bags for Halloween candy from Shopper Drug at 2550 Finch Avenue. I could use only one bag of candy and one was left as extra. Following week I went stores to return extra bag in original packing and with receipt and to my surprise lady on the counter refused to accept it because it was seasonal.  Then I met her manager on duty on 12^th November 2011 at around 10.30 AM. She also refused to accept, I tried to explain her that I am within their criteria for return policy and no where they have mentioned about non acceptance of seasonal items on the stores or on their receipt.  She argued cannot accept return because on seasonal items exceptions mentioned on their website.  

At home I refereed their website for return exception and no where I could find that they have exception for seasonal item.
