I recieved a letter in the mail with a check for 4998.00 telling me to deposit it into my account and that when the check cleared i would mystry shop walmart gap western union and if i done this i would make 300 dollars and was able to keep my merchanise. if i did good then i would be hired on full time .i didnt have a checking account so i opened an account with the check to see if it was real. the bank called me today and told me it was a scam ! beware of this !!!!

ITS A SCAM Legitimate mystery shopping companies do not send to checks to just anyone

You actually have to register with a legitimate mystery shopping service and you have to apply and be hired to do this by the store. You will never receive unsolicted checks in the mail to do this.
When you deposit the BOGUS check and send them the "moneygram" they are stealing your money. That is the only reason they send you the check- they have no intention of sending you on any mystery shopping jobs or paying you for anything..
