Hello I am writing to all to beware of Shoppers Enterprise. Inc aka....shoppers instincts. inc. In these times when all of us want a little extra money , these schemers know who to hit. I received a letter with instructions to call this number 1-905-606-0947. Also was included a cashiers check for 4998. I thought first how did they get my name. I let is sit on the counter for a few days and then decided to search about.
First clue- no return address
Second clue I looked up the phone number it is based out of Canada.
Third I did look up the bank and it looked legit
American Pride Bank out of macon, georgia
I used a calling card to try to talk to some one at that number got through to a recording but never a live person.
Then somehow I ended on this site and see several others got the same or similiar letter.
If the check is a NICE AMOUNT...it means it was not meant to be ...beware...
