Shopping Essentials started putting a charge of $19.95 a month on my credit card for some sort of program that I did not authorize, sign up for, or even know about. I tracked them through vitacost.com, a company I have done business with, and got a phone number to call. I did so, and after much haggling got them to refund the three months of payments and take me off their so-called "program."

The number is 1-800-548-0685.
