SHOPPING FACTS, INC $4998 check scam for mystery shoppers DOVER Delaware

I've read other reports about this co. I just got one of those checks in the mail today for $4,998. It is from Lawrence Bank in Lawrence, KS. It says "cashiers check" on top, but in the letter it says they will stop payment if they don't hear from me immediately. That was the first thing that caught my eye as you cannot stop payment on a Cashier's Check so I knew it was bogus. I immediately googled the company & found all the scam reports. I guess they keep switching banks so beware out there.

This is the first I've heard of this, but it seems to be going around now. There must be some mystery shopping company that we register with that is bogus & they get our contact info this way. It doesn't make me feel very comfortable with giving anyone my info online anymore. BEWARE! BEWARE! It sure looks good to get such a check in the mail, but who would send it to anyone???
