Showtime Casting LIARS, CROOKS, DECEPTIVE PRACTICE, FRAUD, A DEAD END ripoff Oceanside California

I have been trying since mid October, 2004 to get a credit for $139.00. I canceled this service within the allotted time and called them in the beginning of Dec. to check on the credit I was promised.

I was told by Jimmy Larson (who knows if this is his real name)on Dec. 2nd that they were having a hard time pulling up my records and he was forwarding my request to a supervisor and they would call me within 24 hours.He asked for my credit card number.

I did not receive a call and I called back on Dec. 4th. I spoke with Justin (real name?) who asked for my credit card number and told me that it takes 7-8 days to show up on my credit card and that there would not be a reference number. Meanwhile, I had already notified my credit card company.

I tried calling in December and their office was closed for an indeterminate amount of time. On Jan. 5, 2005, I spoke with Aaron (real name?) from their "cancellation" dept. (does that exist?!!)

He told me that it shows that it was cancelled on 12/28/04 and there will not be any paperwork sent and it won't be billed. He told me it would take 10-15 days.

I called my credit card company today, Jan. 14th and there is no credit, it is still part of my charge and I am accruing interest on the charge. I am going to call the dispute dept. from my credit card on Tues. and file a dispute with my credit card company against them.

Meanwhile, I called the number on the charge for this company and I get a recording that says that my merchant account used to stop the transaction is no longer available. The website address that they give (which is obviously bogus) is unintelligable.

Obviously, this was a scam and I am a victim of this fraud.
