I purchased my computer, because of that guy Jim he a a scam master he makes it look so good he bactually brainwashed people. the first time i purchased the computer i noticed a lot of the programs were all scratched up and the monitor was also used so i returned it it cost me $100 to ship it back that was on 12/00.
on 07/01 I was brainwashed by Jim again and decided to purchase the v2 premier for 1900 didn't even have the money, but i charged to my credit card.
when I received the computer, IO had to travel out of state so when i came back i noticed the same problem, but i had no choice since i did not have the money to return it. i on 5/02 the computer broke down. on 07/02 they sent a technician to my house they messed my computer even more now the power supply the mother board, ands everething went down. they finally told me that i would have to take my computer to this palce in flushing new york, where they install a new motherboard and they fix the power supply, however the comuter is mute no sound at all cd player don't work, dvd don't work e-mail in phot or video does not work.
i called v2 premier/viscom maybe about 50 times but they know what they doing *THEY ARE INTO THE SCAM BUSINESS* so they hang up on me or disconnect me. i am willing to suit this company for a full refund and maybe prosecution for the criminal act that involves thousands, and thousands of dollars that they are robbing from people on a daily basis.

Caveat for potential Viscom customers

Reading some of these entries about the v2premier system and Shop NBC, I can understand why so many of you are upset. The television spots about this system are extremely deceptive hard-sells, intended to rope in people who are new to computers by making them believe that there is all this online support and the system is easy to set up.
In reality, shop NBC is a horrible company. After making the initial purchase, you will spend endless hours trying to reach customer service if you have a problem. Viscom is horrible too. God forbid you need any help from them because you are similarly screwed.
What this system really is, and perhaps they should advertise more truthfully, is great if you're lucky enough to get a new system(as opposed to a previous return)and you know enough about computers to set it up and use it properly.
It comes with a great tower, keyboard, moniter and printer, and the amount and quality of software is awesome. Also, you do get tons of extras like all the cables, cameras, microphones, anything you'll ever need, plus 6 months of free aol! Again, it doesn't come with a manual, per say, like Compaq or Apple would, but rather there is a system inventory and separate manuals for everything from the drives and motherboard to the moniter, keyboard and printer.
If you know about computers already and are lucky enough not to need support, it is a great bargain, truly more stuff than you will find anywhere for $1500 to $2000. Otherwise, forget it, get a Compaq Presario: they're affordable, dependable and there is a great manual and support system.
