well, we fell for it.  we should have known better.  master scam artist craig jarrett hit us up about a sign for my boyfriends business.  well, long story short, craig said we would have one size sign and another arrived (4 weeks late) then we called him to come and install the sign (his company says that salesmen are not authorized to install) so he brings a box of plexiglass and wood that he said a friend makes for him for the signs. well after what i think was a legitimate signtronix worker stopped at my boyfriends store and asked him why he had an inside sign on the outside. it took me several times of putting a 6 month block on MY bank account to stop them from taking money out. i called the company and went up the ladder.  i was informed that mr jarrett had been asked about the box and installing the sign and he had denied it all so they essentially called me a liar. if there is ever a lawsuit on them, i would be tickled pink to get even one dollar from them for all the headache and money they have caused us. i would probably frame the darned thing.

To Signtronix Customers

AUTHOR: signtronixforlife - ()

POSTED: Sunday, September 22, 2013

First, in full disclosure,  have been a Dealer for Signtronix for 7 years now.  I‘d like to address this to our customers.

Signtronix provides a wonderful opportunity to those small businesses who want a high quality sign that is also proven to be highly visible.  I cannot speak for all areas of the country, but, in the seven years I have been with Signtronix, in my five state region, no other local or national sign company has ever stopped by their business and educated the small business owner as to why and how a higher grade of sign construction materials will save the business owner money and time on future sign maintenance and sign replacement.  Add the fact that most small business owners have a huge and costly blind spot about what an effectively designed sign can do for their business, and it really does take a proactive personal approach to sign consulting (SALES) to be able to get this information out to small businesses.

Otherwise, the small business owners pulls out the yellow pages and calls the local sign shop that does banners, posters, and flat acrylic plastic signs with vinyl lettering.  The small business owner gets the short end of the stick when they buy a "cheap" vinyl lettering (will eventually chip, peel, or fade) sign that‘s been adhered to the outside of an easy-to-break panel.  The small business owner has a tendency to over-weight their attention to price or cost, instead of focusing on the long term value of a much higher return on investment in terms of more customers and less maintenance, repair, and replacement.

Every day that a small business owner has a weakly lit, poorly designed, uninviting, under performing sign in front of their business, is a day that the business owner is losing money in terms of fewer customers due to limited visibility and terrible image in the community.  It's a well-known fact mentioned by many business experts that a bright, colorful, inviting, graphically-oriented, well-designed, well-built sign is the cheapest and most effective way to bring in more customers.  Without going into all the construction details of how we accomplish that, that is what we do.  That is all we do.

We decided a long time ago that we would rather explain cost once than to have to apologize for poor quality or poor workmanship and then just stand by and watch our customers struggle and fail to survive because of poor signage.

I have worked at small local sign shops so I know first hand what goes on there, and it is cynical and ugly in my opinion to offer low quality, low visibility, cheaper signs while pandering to the cost fears of small business owners.  I love Signtronix. It's not a perfect company, but it's a great comoany, and we are always striving to improve.  We do what we say we are going to do, when we say we are going to do it, at the price we say we are going to do it for, and we have been doing that now for 54 years having sold something like 600,000 of the best-built, best-looking, and best-backed (ask your local sign shop for a 10 year panel guarantee against breakage of any kind, including vandalism, and see what they say!!!!) sign available to the small business owner today.  And, we are willing to design, build, and ship this sign to you with only a 20% deposit.  Every single sign company I know of asks for at least 50% down, with some asking for 75% or 100% upfront.  And, we can arrange financing on the spot with a qualified, but less than average credit score.

We are able to do all of this through a unique high volume marketing, sales and manufactoring process that is absolutely brilliant in my opinion.  If we just ut an ad in the yellow pages and waited for the phone to ring and did not do the hard work of going to the place of business to educate or consult, the sales and thus manufactoring volume would be lower and our prices would be higher.  That's why your local sign shop won't even attempt to do what we do in their sign making.

Do I wish that all of our customers were ecstatic with the purchasing experience through Signtronix?  You bet I do, but I also realize that you can't please everyone all the time, and that there are a lot of unreasonable folks that will never be satisfied.  We have hundreds of thousands of thrilled customers, many who have sent in written testimonials about how our signs have positively impacted their businesses, often times in HUGE ways.

Our products and our consultative, very direct selling style, is not for everyone.  If not, don't buy one, and don't work here.  We all have chouces and option, fortunately here in America.  I, for one, would not want to do it any other way.

We are proud of what we do, and how we are able to work out cooperative marketing arrangements with those customers who can meet our conditions for the program.   If all conditions cannot be met, then the program is just not workable.  If we do not adhere to the proven formula and conditons, this program will not work for us to achieve the factory-direct, high volume manufactoring that we need to be able to produce franchise-quality work for the small business who desperately needs professional visibility and sign construction in front of their business.
