I do drop shipping and came across Simplx.com . I entered their site and had additional questions before paying their $19.95 application fee, I e-mailed them twice through their "contact us" page. I never received a response.
Stupid me, I went ahead and paid the $19.95 thinking I would obtain immediate access to their site and have my questions answered. I did not receive immediate access, but only to receive a message that my application has been submitted and that I would be contacted by a representative shortly.
I instantly e-mailed them back requesting to cancel my application, stating that I assumed that I could get my questions answered by having immediate access. Again, no response, but I did receive the call 2 days later, that they said that I would get.
I told the person on the phone to cancel my app and explained why, but he continued his sales pitch.
He went on to explained their unique services and I stated that I am already doing what Simplx offers & that these services are not unique.
I asked how much it would cost to use their services and he tells me anywhere from $18,000.00 (yes, thousand) to $4000.00 + a monthly fee. He asked how I felt about the pricing and I told him that it was outrageous! I'm selling products for you and making you money and you want to charge me?
I told him that I am currently with a very reliable drop shipper and they have quality products and their services are excellent, they even answer my e-mail the very same day. I don't pay them a single penny.
The Rep. that called me told me that the $19.95 that I paid was to receive his phone call.
I read through all the postings on this site and agree 100% with all of them except Linda's rebuttals.
To contradict Linda:
(Linda) We would rather not charge an application fee. If all those who apply have the true desire and entrepreneurial spirit we are interested in serving, every one of them would be qualified. However, not everyone does qualify, so in order to find those who are more than information seekers, we require all the applicants to review the terms and conditions, fill out an application and remit the application fee, in effort to disqualify information seekers before deciding that our program is not for them.
(ME)But Linda you never answered my e-mails to find out if this program is for me or not!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(Linda) One might ask why a university or a college requires an application or registration fee, only to determine that more than 75% of those applicants will not be accepted into the school. The reason being, it takes time and effort to investigate, review and determine whether or not the applicant is qualified for the institution.
(Me) I work w/ many Drop Shippers and they don't have any application fee. And if I remember correctly, the last employment application that I filled out in which I didn't get the job, I was not charged! And that was a dumb example that you gave. Colleges don't scam you!
(Linda) Also, we receive approximately 250 applications each day, of which only a fraction pay the application fee. Those who do not pay the application fee are not considered.
(Me) 250 x $19.95 = $4987.50 per day x 7 days per week $34912.50???????????
(Linda)Regarding your request to see a list of customers who have received a refund, we have not even had ten requests for refunds.
(Me) Ummmmmm, I requested one & didn't get a response.
Someone needs to stop this company. They are making a lot of money & not providing any services for the money!!! They are a scam!!!! And yes, Linda your company is scamming. You are not up front at the beginning during the application process. If you were, you wouldn't even be on this web site!

SIMPLX FRAUDULENT CHARGE TO CREDIT CARD!!
AUTHOR: K T - ()
SUBMITTED: Thursday, June 20, 2013
I signed up for a trial account on June 13th. On the same day, I sent a CANCELLATION REQUEST to the email address as instructed on their website support@simplx.com. I even got an automated response confirming receipt of my message.
Today, my account was charged $69.99. This is FRAUD. This is criminal. I am waiting for a response from them to see if they will credit my account.
#11 UPDATE Employee
Simplx is a credible company
AUTHOR: Simplx Public Relations - (United States of America)
SUBMITTED: Thursday, December 10, 2009
Simplx.com has been in business for over six years, and strives to
provide the best dropshipping service possible. With this in mind,
we will address each of the complaints/accusations in the order this
individual has stated. Simplx values, respects, and cares about each
customer who chooses to apply or purchase our services.
Because our service requires the customer to work and have access to
several resources in order for it to work, we require customers to
fill out an application, which is reviewed before any customer can
sign-up. Simplx does not want to sell our services to any customer
which cannot utilize them.
We have receive several hundred applications each day, and in order
to separate those who are legitimately interested, versus those who
are just seeking information, we provide an application fee for those
who are legitimately interested. Our application fee is optional,
meaning we do not require the application fee in order to fill out
the first two pages of the application. Only customers who are
legitimately interested should apply and pay the application fee.
This customer expected immediate access to our service by paying the application fee, but no where on our application or on the payment page does it state that the customer would be received such a service. The exact words on the application fee payment page are as follows:
Because of the number of applications we receive each day, we have recently implemented a non-refundable $19.95 application fee. Application fee includes 30 day review of Simplx program information and additional benefits.
As stated in the information above, the application fee goes to pay
for a review of the Simplx program. Additional benefits include a
rushed application. We are unclear why the customer expected to
receive an account after paying the application fee, because it is
never stated on the Simplx website or in the terms of the application
fee that an account would be provided upon payment of the application
fee.
We cannot confirm the information which is stated concerning the
phone call, but we can confirm that Simplx provided the services
which were promised on the site and on the application. The
application promises contact from a representative, which the
customer states they received. The customer did not agree with out
pricing model, and that is fine, the customer is not forced to
purchase anything from our company.
Again, Simplx wants to provide the services or products which are promised, and is not trying to rip off any customers. Simplx values, respects, and cares about each customer and is not trying to scam any customer out of their money. Because we care about each customer, we encourage customers to provide feedback on their experience with Simplx. Customers can know that any feedback or complaints they would like to send to Simplx can be done so via email at Feedback@Simplx.com Simplx can usually provide responses to any complaints within 1 business day to any customer who submits a complaint at this email address. We are confident we can resolve your concern or complaint, even if we need to provide free products or services to do so.
Sincerely,
Simplx.com

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH SIMPLX.COM!!!

I too had bad dealings with this company!!
They don't respond to any of your inquiries UNLESS it will bring them a profit.
I had tried many times over to get a concern resolved and never did.
They are NOT who they claim to be, as far as what they offer their customers and
follow none of their claims from their website.
DO NOT do business with Simplx.com unless you too would like to be toyed with and
your precious time wasted!

Thank god for this site, I too was looking at simplx for a drop shipper, I filled out the app but when it went to a page for a payment i was surprised. When filling out the app it said you were to be contacted and nothing about any money. So OFCOURSE when i got to that page i hd to come here and check it out. Just like what people here say about the scam sales pitch happened. I was ready for them tho after reading reports here and also by getting ripped off by Doba, another CRAP company that takes you for a ride. Thank you so much for this site, I don't know what i would do without you!!

Recently Paid $19.95 Application Fee
AUTHOR: Jackie - (U.S.A.)
SUBMITTED: Wednesday, November 01, 2006
On October 12, 2006, I took a calculated risk and allowed Simplx.com to charge my business card $19.95 to apply for their drop shipping service, and presumably, have immediate ability to review their inventory; allowing a more informed decision to further purse a business relationship with them. After being charged $19.95, I was informed Due to a high volume of applications we receive, one of our Broker Advisors will contact you within the next 3 to 5 business days to review and discuss your application. If you have questions regarding the status of your application, please call our Corporate Headquarters at 1-888-335-6126.
On Thursday, October 26, 2006, I sent an email to broker@simplx.com [mailto:broker@simplx.com] informing them that after 14-days no one has contacted me, I've called several times and reached the proverbial IVR on each call. Scott, from Simplx.com, called on Saturday, October 28, 2006, to sell me services that I already have. In closing, I take solace in a $20 (twenty dollars) lesson well learned; to be extremely cautious approaching internet drop shippers like Simplx.com.

Besides the $19.95 fee...
AUTHOR: Kendal - (U.S.A.)
SUBMITTED: Thursday, October 05, 2006
Does anyone have anything to say about the company's actual service?
I talked to someone on the phone, and they said their membership fees start at $99. Way less than the thousands someone up there was talking about. I asked them about the brands they carry (I'm interested in selling clothing, but only name brands) and they have what I'm looking for. It's sounds good, but has anyone actually worked with them? I'd like to hear from someone who has gotten past being charged $19.95.

I aslo donated a 19.95 application fee and after speaking with one the reps (Joshua). I told him that I would get back to him this would allow me to do some reaserch on this company. After reading all the comments posted here. One would have to be insane to give your company a penny more than the 20.00 dollar application fee, because of all the negative feedback.Even if your company was legit everyone that has taken the time to share their experiances and opinions can't all be wrong.Think about it the people here don't know each other, and probably don't have much in common, and I think in most cases wouldn't make the comments about simplx if they were not worthy of it. Where there is smoke there is fire.

I too am looking to start selling online. Would you be willing to share with me via email who you use for dropshipping? I read where you mentioned a good reliable company you use.
I have googled dropshipping online only to find out that most companies have a lot of bad things said about them on ripoffreport.com
Thanks
