I clicked on a Facebook Ad for the product and was taken to their webpage where it said I could pay just shipping for $5.95 to try and 30 day supply, free trial offer.  I also paid shipping for the Simply Green coffee bean supplement from the same company.  It doesn't say anything about having to continue to pay after the trial period or that they would automatically bill you for the original pills if you do not cancel within a certain time period until you get to the check out page where you enter your credit card.  On that page, after taking a second look, there is very small fine print at the very bottom of the page.  No where did I have to check a box indicating I agreed to the terms and conditions.

I was charged 15 days after my order for $84 and $78 respectively for the two bottles.  I immediately cancelled my subscription.  I spoke to three customer service reps.  The first one refused to refund anything and said I checked a box agreeing to the terms and conditions. I later found that to be untrue when I went through the steps I had taken again.  On a different website of theirs, there is a box, but on the one I provided, which was linked through the Facebook ad, there is no box.

The second rep was willing to refund me 50% of the cost of the product and said I could reactivate my account and get the 50% dscount for life.  I declined but still got the refund of 50%.

The third representative said the best he could give me was 50%.  I asked if I could extend my trial period because the terms and conditions state that if there is a delay in shipping they would be reasonable and extend the trial period.  They did, in fact, take two days to shio out my bottles from the time I ordered.  Then there was also the 4th of July holiday and a Sunday.  So it took at least a week for me to get my pills.  My 14 day trial period, was more like a 7 day trial period.  Not enough time to even know if I liked the products.

I am now going to file a dispute with my credit card company because I never checked a box agreeing to terms and conditions.  And they didn't hold up their end of the deal of extending the trail period because they were delayed in shipping my items.

It is CLEAR they were trying to hide the fact that there would be a LARGE charge if you didn't cancel quickly. Most reputable companies are up front about this sort of deal.  Amazon Prime offers a deal like this: 30 day free trial, and charged the yearly cost if you don't cancel.  They don't hide it, they clearly state the deal so you know what you are getting into.

This is so clearly a scam and I feel foolish that I was so trusting. Never again will I make this mistake.  I am always suprised there are such deceitful immoral people in the world.
