On 11/14/05 I ordered the above product through an automated system. I ordered "buy 1 get one free" with three easy payments.

On 11/16/05 I found that my checking account had been debited $453.70, which totally put me into overdraft mode. I immediately tried to call this company to correct the error. After much time spent on hold I connected with a person who informed me I had ordered 8 vacuums (in essence 16). I explained the insanity and immediately canceled my order and was told I would be credited within 15 days.

17 days later no credit, more time spent trying to connect, being put on hold till finally a person. She told me no, it would take 15 days to process and another 15 days to receive it. After explaining my frustration at trying to connect I was told that the company's phone lines had contracted a "virus" and there only a few lines open, plus they were moving.

I pleaded with her to get my money back as soon as possible. I am a single mother of 3, this had put my bank account upside down, I'd had to go all over town to find money to cover it and it was Christmas. She assured me it would be taken care of by 12/26/06. And oh, by the way, if you hold more than 30 minutes, the system automatically throws you out. You could still be holding, you wouldn't know.

12/29/06, 3 1/2 hours on hold throughout the day. Connected - told that she could put a "rush" on my money. I asked why it was still there, and then asked for a supervisor. She connected to me an "automated" supervisor assuring me a call back within 24 hours. Hah!

12/29/06 Get on line contact customer care explaining the gravity of my situation. Automated response of how important my email was with guaranteed response in 24 hours. Hah!

1/5/06 3 hours calling, 2 1/2 on hold, never got a live person. Another email sent, this time not even an automated response.

1/06/06 Get on line and see that I am not the only victim. Lots of tears of anger and frustration.

Connected to New York offices but just get a girl telling me somebody will call me back this afternoon. I asked to speak to someone in their legal department but she kept telling me there was noone there and she had other lines to answer. I explained to her that she had ripped me off, stolen, unbelievable. Why bother she didn't care. I kept asking her whether she represented IGIA or the Windstorm Company but she would not respond.

Is anyone getting anywhere with this company, I can't believe that IGIA, as big as a corporation that they are is allowing this to go on. Please help somebody.
