On 7/11/2005 I ordered Singer Lazer Storm, paid with my debit card 2 vacuums and a steamer for $119.85 plus shipping and handling, to be delivered in 2 to 4 wks, when I recieved my bank statement I had been charged $187.32 on 7/11/2005 and $39.95 on 08/04/2005, for a total of $227.27.

It has been a nightmare trying to contact SINGER LAZER STORM, there email address you get no response, calling customer service #800-716-8667 is a joke, for days I would get a recording that said to speak with someone I needed to call 800-716-8667 which was the same number I had called. The times I did speak with someone, it was after I had been on hold for an hour or more, just to be told that my REFUND would be issued in 2 weeks (starting 8/12/2005 it is now 9/22/2005) or that it had already been issued when I knew better.

I believe that their goal is to discourage customers from calling. I would like to have some one contact me to see what legal recourse customers have and how to better protect customers from SCAMS such as this one. I believe that there should be accountability for statements made in writing and bait and switch practices that are just running rampid with this company.

If a CLASS ACTION law suit is what is needed to make a loud statement to all those who would cheat, steal, missrepresent,and use stall tactics to avoid REFUNDING customers or rectifying mistakes that are made with the purpose of defrauding customers.

In my opionion when mistakes are made with the frequency that SINGER LAZER STORM is making them, they are no long mistakes, we need to call it for what it is "FRAUD" and the public must be protected.
