it's a shame that after seven and a half years I have to cancel Sirius XM over their deceptive business practices and billing Sirius had been actually getting away with overcharging quite a few of its customers in particularly me for a while and since the convenience of things nowadays is to automatically supply a credit card it will be months almost a year before you realize that you have been ripped off by them or taken advantage of it started when I noticed that they promised a multi radio discount for three vehicles I had promising that I could get the additional radio for $10 a monthfinally finding out that it was more like 15 to 17 dollars a month when I brought it to serious attention the customer service reps are more interested in trying to find a way to keep my business then finding ways to refund what I was overcharged then to make matters worse I found out not only were they not billing me at one time for both radios they were billing me separately so they can charge an increased fee for the second radio now when I brought it to the tension of the customer care rep after some haggle he decided to go aheadand refund my money from where I was overcharged


well ladies and gentlemen here's where it really gets interesting he offered me a promotion where I would get one year of service why only paying for 6 months of service he was taken when I was already charged for 1 radio and prorated charge me the difference which was like 7 or eight bucks not a bad deal huh however what ended up happening was he converted my refund for the cancer radio to the service so really instead of getting 6 months prorated I would actually paying for 4 year in under the guise of giving me 6 months free I was paying for 1year but they were actually trying to Gaslight me into believing I was paying for 6 months now with the refund that I was promised didn't show up in my bank account I called serious and representative explain to me that not only had I paid 35 bucks 6 month I paid the additional $47 for the 6 months and was still owin Sirius XM 8 that was an entire rip off and that seems to be the level of dishonesty that has started to become common with this company

after I spoke the next customer service representative she kept trying to find ways to placate me but she was basically explaining that now only could I not get my money back the only way I could get it back with by cancelling service which was a total inconvenience so when I asked and a minute to speak to a supervisor instead of him handling the problem he tried to explain to me whySirius XM was justified in charging me what they would charge in me so after a pointless debate with him about how deceptive is customer service agent had been I just decided you know what it's been a long run but enough of this you lost one radio now you're gonna lose both radio and I'm closing out my account it's sad because I have enjoyed Sirius XM for 7 years and its horrible that I have to now get to a point where I have to watch my billing statement and can no longer trust having credit card on file with companies because they try to take advantage of you at every cost
