SIXT CAR RENTAL Frivolous charges for pre-existing scratches & scrapes Orlando, Florida Nationwide

Rented car on April 25, 2016 for oneway drive Orlando to Miami.

Off airport lot was muddy,from a heavy rain and poorly lit 

Couldn't locate car on lot so found a mechanic and asked about the car. He said it was in the back of the lot.

When i drove the car to the check out area, there was no one available to do a walk around. So being late, I drove off the lot.

Note> There is no security gate, nor anyone to be sure I had the right car.

Drove to Miami airport with one stop for gas. Turned in the car. The attendent said there were scratches but they looked old.

On May 20th I recieved an e-mail charging me with all of the damage asking for $1,300.00

I refused and wrote a certified and noterized leter refusing to pay for pre-existing damage.

They have now turned this over to a collection agency.

Do not ever rent from SIXT
