SK Investments owns various websites (automotive, power sports, sports memorabilia, gambling, pet supplies, hunting) and posts to sell websites on various website broker sites. There are 2 main issues:

1)For the website purchaser, they misrepresent their businesses/sites. These guys appear very honest, friendly and helpful. However, once the purchase is complete and the "issues" appear, they are completely non responsive. There are a few different "issues" for the purchasers of their sites: they do not comply with MAP pricing so they run sites a few months with very high traffic/revenue since their prices are below all competitors pricing and then before they get put on "do not sell" lists for violating MAP pricing, they sell the websites off. The new owner has to then comply with MAP pricing and once this is done, all traffic/revenue falls away since the prices then become competitive with others; and/or another other "trick" they use is to demonstrate legitimate sales thru the site but once the purchaser takes over, they learn that the sales were not fulfilled even though those customer credit cards were charged. We purchased a website thru them and its been a nightmare.

2)For the customers to their various websites, as noted above, they collect payment via credit card and then do not fulfill orders.

Their websites consistently do not have a phone number listed on the site (this is something to watch out for). Another consistency found is that they are either non responsive to direct email communication or to communication submitted via the "contact" form on their websites or they do actually respond but never sign an actual name of an individual to emails. In other words, they just "sign" their response emails as the name of the website, rather than the name of the individual who has composed the response.

Unfortunately, they hide behind their sites. They are moving away from the name "SK Investments" and using other names, likely due to things starting to catch up with them. They are also now stating that they "got rid of the partner who did this stuff" and it s hard for them to "get their name out of the mud" but that now everything is legitimate.

Stay away from Sk Investments, Brian Anderson, Kris Plier, and apparently Kris Plier has used the name Logan Peters in the past. They have used CA, TX, WY, and CO addresses. When looking to buy websites, be VERY careful!!
