Ordered free trial on May 20.  They charged my credit card $4.95 on May 22.  I did not received product until May 24.

Free trial was for $4.95 shipping.  But Terms and Conditions say if you don't cancel during the 18-day trial, you will be billed $97.87.  Of course when ordering the free trial, there is no pop-up making you agree to terms and conditions.  And they automatically sign you up for auto-shipments when you order the trial.

I noticed today there was a pending charge for $97.87 on my CC.  Technically my 18th day would be June 8, if you count from when they charged the free trial (May 22).  So I called the company.

First customer service person said I should have cancelled within my trial period.  When I pushed back she hung up on me.

Second customer service person also hung up on me after I explained that I was cancelling today, the 17th day.  She insisted that it was a 14-day trial, not an 18-day trial, until I pointed out their terms and conditions listed on their website.  Then she said the 18-days started on May 20 - the day I ordered the product.  Seems like they are spinning their answers anyway they can to get the $98.

Third time calling, I insisted on speaking to a manager.  The customer service person refused to transfer me.  When I explained again that I was on the 17th day and wanted to make sure I was not charged, she also hung up on me.

This company is a scam.  I fear countless customers have taken them up on their free trial and didn't cancel according to terms because they don't make their terms known up-front when you order.

I have not finished using the free trial.  But I strongly doubt the product is any good.  No company who sells a reputable product would have to use ripoff schemes like these to get their product out there.

And lastly, Amazon.com sells the product for $34.

Lesson learned for me.
