I took flying lessons at this school when they were located in NJ as well. I put $10,000 in my account to start flying with Sky Blue and after a year I had stopped flying do to work related issues. I had $700 in my account with Sky Blue and one day they just closed their doors and took everyones money that was on account including my $700, thank God I didn't have more in there like some other people.
So after they closed I knew that Pat (Owner or Partner) said they had a school in FL. as well. I called them up and they said they were not a ffiliated with the school in NJ but Pat was in charge there, odd. I continued to email them for the next several months and finally they said give us proof of what you had on account with us and we will get you your money. After several more emails no response. So here I am SKY BLUE AVIATION BOCA RATON,FL!

Dear Writter,
I am very sorry you have felt the need to file such a report on a trivial website, but I am here to assure you that you never spoke with me the person in charge of handling these matters.
Sky Blue AViation Academy was closed down in New Jersey some time in 2006 or 2007. There is another COMPLETELY SEPERATE Sky Blue Aviation Academy located in Boca Raton Florida. At the time Pat did own both companies, but as of May 15th, 2007 Sky Blue AViation Academy was sold to new owners who are NOT affiliated AT ALL with the previous Sky Blue organization except to have the same name and location in Boca Raton.
I understand how upsetting it must be for you to have not received your money back when that company, (a completely seperate company from the current and existing and working Sky Blue in Boca Raton) closed, and it is not my responsability as a new corporate worker for Sky Blue Aviation Academy to refund your money distributed in a completely different state and corporation, that happens to share the same name.
Sorry for you confusion on this matter but Sky Blue Aviation Academy of Boca Raton Florida is completely exempt from this situation and the people who you should be upset with are located in New Jersey and again i give you my condolences that we here at Sky Blue in Florida can not help you.
