In 2007 get a great offer for small ad in books at chamber and various great locations.  Made a promise of 250.00 payment for ad to run 5 years.  No books were delivered to anywhere.   Continued paying but in 2008 they called and wanted me to renew my add.  Explained as above that ad was for multiple years and, where are they at from last year.  So no, I dont I just want what you promised last year.  In 2010 got a call we owed  for an add.  Went through it again and got it right.  Got a paid in full receipt.  Since then have received more calls and have to prove it over and over.  Now they tell me that I got an invoice with another number and I still owe for another service.  I got no other service and agreed to none.  They make up accounts and expect payment. 

Do not deal with these people, they call everone else liars, but in fact we ArE NoT.  We are not helpless either, there is 83 BBB complaints so far and they are not accredited.  Continue to tell their story, they are in advertising so we need to advertise for THEM.  Unite and get a lawyer and make contact like I am with other victims and SUE them.  This is a bad and unprofessional group and they have very very many negative web pages.  Fight back, shut this evil machine down, they do not advertise for us but themselves with their actions.  ps use a cease and desist order. And also if they cant prove that our books went out where they were supposed to this is fraud.  We can ask but a judge can force.    Comunnicate and find a common website or we can strat one for a class action suit.  there is enough of us and lets do it.

First, I want to point out that Skyline Publishing and Royal Publishing are in no way affiliated with each other. Skyline Publishing has no knowledge regarding the business practices or ethics of Royal Publishing. We would appreciate if you have an issue with Royal Publshing you create a seperate complaint.

Secondly, if you had any question whether you purchased advertising you are more than welcome to contact us and ask. We document each and every purchase and every customer has to either sign a written contract or go through a verification process that is recorded and a verbal contract (legally binding) is made. We never just "make up" invoices or charge customers for advertising they did not purchase. After some research I believe I know who this customer is and according to our records this customer has purchased advertising more than one year and failed to make full payments on invoices. Then once collection agencies started calling asking for money the orders weren't placed and Skyline is a horrible company. This customer has been provided with proof of purchase, distirbution points, and proof of partial payments made. We have asked several times for proof of additional payment as the customer claims to have paid in full and no documentation was provided. I also noticed in our records the rude and derogatory emails sent to us from this customer. There is never a need for personal attacks on someone privately or publically. As a professdional company we would never treat anyone is such a way and appreciate that courtesy back. This customer filed complaints with the BBB as well as the Attorney General and both side with Skyline Publishing. As stated from the BBB "Following our usual procedure, we notified the consumer of your response and requested notification of whether or not it was satisfactorily resolved. The consumer notified our office they are not satisfied. Your company has made a reasonable effort in an attemt to resolve this issue: therefore we are closing the complaint at this time." Obviously the BBB and Attorney general's office, after reviewing the facts have found that Skyline did nothing wrong. If this customer would like to contact Skyline Publishing for clarification on what was owed please do so. It is unfortunate that because someone does not want to make payment on an order that was placed they resort to filing unneccessary complaints. It is also evident that this customer has changed their name several times on this website and posted complaints about the same thing to make it look like it is from different people. As someone who is trying to gain credibility about how unprofessional another business is I would consider that rather unprofessional and immature. I also want to point our that Skyline Publishing has never lost any lawsuits. Skyline Publishing has never been found guilty of any wrongdoing in any lawsuit. Skyline Publishing has never been sued but any customer. The reason is because Skyline Publishing is not doing anything fraudulent. It is important before believing what these customers post on these website that you actually find out the truth. Truth is where the company is right : RP works with customers and does publish at designated locations. Any misrepresentations are met with suspensions and /or termination. Invoice is made for customers convenience so customers can see a copy of add on back of invoice if peace of mind or fitting into budget is necessary. Ithe differrent Athletic commissions and Directors endorse the company for the publication, depending on publication
There will be 3 to 4 sales people calling a single business a day at times for or with an excuse there are didderent sports/ even same sports the team is in a different tournament.
Where the company is wrong. Agressive sales tactics. Examples of during hurricane Sandy The very day after was told to call into community and press untill I personally had to call cheif of police in area to tell manager of devistation. And I refused. (Point out I made there sales quota for 1 year in 4 months and had 1 absense without DR authorization) they openly recruited a lady who showed up to work entoxicated and due to the lack of a no drug testing policy... The employees admittedly or wittnessed,manager(s) included, will before and during lunch breaks smoke marajuanna. The office will reak of it to the point where spray is needed and even the manager laughs it off... second chance employees are fine but the abuse is an excuse. If the company or anyone rebutals my statement above, agree to random drug testing and if right now this published gauranteed that office would test 90 percent dirty. The employees are sometimes on parole so the manager will abuse (yell,hit walls, threaten) because they will go back to jail or have a violation if the job is lost. The company paid a class 11..50 hr and kept other employees at 9.00 not caring of the moral or experience. The consumer is second to dollars and that is why the.y let me go. And continue to abuse those who work hard for them...Royal is no longer in knowlege of (or I hope he isn't) these instances since a lady by the name of Charity took over operations.

I have been involved with Skyline for over 4 years and have not heard anyone ever say advertizing is for more than one year. Employees are monitored and recorded to ensure the correct information is given out and distribution sheets are provided for each county. Employees can not give out names of places that are not confirmed distrubution sites. Printers run nonstop and magazines are mailed daily. I have repeat customers that comment on the quality of the magazines and how much they improve year after year. We work with Chambers around the nation who both support and endorse our magazines, and those who contract with us to do thier county magazines. This company strives to make our customers happy. It is upsetting when recordings are played back for customers with their own confirmation and they still deny purchase. We deal with thousands of customers every day and make every effort to make them happy and provide quality advertizing to help grow thier business so they will be repeat customers the following year.

Mr. R**** I did find it interesting that you filed a complaint with the attorney general when there is no validilty to your complaint. I also find it interesting that at least 3 complaints on the Rip-off report.com are from you Sir. I don't think that is the point of this website. It seems you are just slandering Skyline Publishing for your own amusement. This is why I and many people do not consider this website a reliable source. There is no way to check the validilty of complaints. Also, since you can just change your name and log in under a different one you can keep making complaints even though you know they are untrue and you know you have already put a complaint on this website.

I also will point out that in this complaint you are saying that you never ordered the first ad but in your third complaint you stated you never ordered the second. Which is it? Are you confused on your own lies? My suggestion to you Sir is that if you spent as much time working maybe you would have the money to pay creditors. You can keep slandering us if you wish but we are a very successful company and care about our customers. If you had any questions at any time you were able to call us and ask but instead you ignored invoices and phone calls until a collection agency contacted you and asked for the last $50.00 you owed and then you had an issue. Sounds fishy to me!

Have begun correspondance with Illinois Attorney General.  Saved all e-mails that went back and forth with Skyline.  In Skylines rebuttal to Attorney General, it was stated "imagine my surprise when today I opened the mail and saw a complaint from Mr. @@@@."  My e-mail from 1 week earlier told her I was contacting Il Attorney Generals Fraud line.  The very first line was a "mis statement"  Be careful wht is in e-mails as there Are erase marks on the copy and paste form reply they sent to the BBB.  If anyone else is having trouble right now please write, this will be more assistance with stopping more of this "Stuff Skyline" pulls.   Oh, and this whole thing is over a 50.00 bill that they materialize every so often saying I loved their service and was a repeat customer.  Not true.  I have spent over 100.00 so far fighting them and Will spend much more.  If I cave and pay the 50.00 dollars they will call back in a year or two and threaten again.  Been thru this 1 time in 2010 so I Do Know. Do Not Do Any Business with them,  If Their lawyer "C.Burnstein" calls send her notice too.  Burnstein and Burnstein should also be listed here for following thru with bogus threats and claims to monies They Are Not Owed. . .

Once again, turn them in, they lost lawsuits before and continue with the same tactics and a new mask of smiles.
