Skype Online Number Ripoff Internet

Skype sells Online Numbers, which appear to be local numbers, available for many countries in the world. Anyone who dials the "local" number will be connected to the Skype customer who purchased the Online Number, wherever they are in the world. The problem is that phone the "local" number, in the case of Johannesburg, South Africa, (and I'm sure many other places in the world) does not incur local call charges, but special per-minute charges that are actually more expensive than direct-dialing internationally from South Africa to the USA. Skype does not make these per-minute charges available anywhere on their website. You only find out after the telephone bill arrives.

I complained to Skype and asked for a refund of the money paid to them to get the Online Number. They refused to refund the money.
