Slomin's Rip off, unsympathetic and RUDE philadelphia, Pennsylvania

We signed a contract with Slomin's two years ago for a home security system. We were told that if we did move the service could be transfered to a new residence. HOWEVER, when it came time for us to actually move (HELLO the economy is terrible and people are being relocated and laid off) due to my husband's job relocation we called Slomin's to transfer our service. Slomin's check into the area in which were moving and told us that they do not provide service in that area, and they we would have to pay them the remainder on our contract! They offered no early cancelation fee! We asked if they had a sister company in the area, but they refused to work with us. We informed them that this move was out of our control, and they responded by telling us that we would have to get the new buyers of our home to finish out the contract, as if that is even possible, or that we would owe the remaining monthy amount for the next 40 months! I WILL NEVER USE THIS COMPANY AND WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THEIR SERVICES TO ANYONE AND WILL LET EVERYONE KNOW ABOUT THIS PROBLEM! I can't believe in these hard times that companies are ripping people off! They should offer an early cancelation fee at the least. DO NOT sign a contract with Slomin's, they will surely default on their guaranties!
