The infamous Ciplex has created a new web identity SM Design to hide from the bad reputation it has been given online and by consumers and employees. Beware of doing business with SM Design studios as they call themselves. They are the very same Ciplex that has ripped off and scammed so many others. All you have to do is look at the portfolio of SM Design and you will see the same projects.
They don't list the address for SM Design, but the site does show Serbia as the outsource location of their work. Ciplex has tried to assure the public through other scam reports which were reported that they didn't outsource their projects, but as you can see by SM Design of Serbia they do.
Google Ripoff Report Ciplex or scam Ciplex which is in the link as list of all the companies and people that have reported against them.
SM Design proclaims to be Los Angeles Magento Developers, but they are Ciplex.
Call any of the companies in their portfolio and ask how it was dealing with them.

If you paid $50k for web site I guess you are ripped off and understand why you are pissed off! But I have no idea why are you mentioning SMDesign all the time? Did you pay something to us? Did you ever contacted us?
You are writing completely anonymously complete allegation. I tried to explain things to you, but for $50k I guess that nothing I say will come trough. So, as much as I am concern, you are free to write whatever you want. If it will be easier to you after that, I am willing to help you out this way.
Since you have never been our client, future responses from SMDesign Studio you can get after introducing your self with name and last name as well as website URL. This scam reviews are little too much. I am not saying you are ruing our business because we don't have clients like you, but responding to your frustration is odd since IT HAS NOTHING to do with SMDesign Studio.

I see you have moved some projects off of Ciplex now and placed on SMdesign, I guess to boost the portfolio, but this wasn't work done by SMdesign. So it's a misrepresenation to the customers / clients.
Good designers yes, bad developers and overdo projects leads to pissed of clients.
The work is overcharged and always upwards of $50k or more when you can get the same work for half that with other local companies. Maybe this extra money is needed to pay people to write all the reviews.
People don't write positive reviews unless they're asked to and then these aren't the companies you want to here from, you want to hear from the disatisfied clients, because they're the ones who will offer the truth to their experience.
The point of this rebutal was to point out that Ciplex a Magento development agency is making itself as SMDesign Studio.
The Address of SMDesign is in the Canterburry Apartments in Culver City, going to guess an employee of Ciplex apartment. Why would you operate out of an apartment building if you're a professional web design and Magento development company?
You charge all that money and don't have an office space? Evem Ciplex has an office space.
The extensions offered on http://www.extensionsmall.com/ are built with client money from client projects.
DO YOUR HOMEWORK PEOPLE, THAT IS ALL I ASK AND IF YOU STILL WANT TO GIVE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY TO THEM AFTER LEARNING THEY'RE CIPLEX, THEN THAT IS UP TO YOU. AT LEAST YOU WERE INFORMED.
