Smith Loan Assistance They Are Frauds Internet

I keep getting email from Smith Loan Assistance stating I have a loan with them and they are taking legal action against me.  I have never had a pay day advance loan with them.  When I called and asked them what this was about they started asking me to verify my social security number.  When I asked them what this was about, the man Victor told me, this was a payday loan I took out back in 2013. If I didn't pay, they would take legal action against me and they would have my company of work contacted and have my wages garnished.  I told him on the phone and sent an email back stating that if they bother me again, I will contact a lawyer and I will sue them.  I don't know what they are about but it seems to me they are trying to scare people into paying money they never owed.
