 I purchased a 2005 Dodge Magnum from Gary Schinder only to find out that it is So That Inc. a Florida dealer. The way it was described made it look way better than it actually is. Direct copy of his Ebay description, spelling errors and all. This 2005 Dodge Magnum is in Very Good Mechanical condition!! **LOW MILES** . 5-speed automatic transmission! It starts right up, Runs, shifts and drives smooth and solid without any issues! Engine runs great! Everything is in working order! Nothing is leaking under the car ! No warning lights lit up in dash! Air is Cold! Heat is warm. Everything in this car works: head lights, break lights, turn signals, instrument panel lights and all gages ,Radio ,CD all is functioning properly! Leather interior in excellent condition!! nice and clean! Seats are very clean, No burn holes! No smoke oder! Power windows, locks, mirrors, seats, sunroof. This is a powerful and fun car! Its safe, reliable, affordable and comfortable car that is ready to go! Just needs a nice paint job and it will look like new! Sounds pretty good, so I purchased the car with intent of driving it back 1600 miles to Mn. I flew into Melbourne, Fl and he picked me up at the airport. I immediately noticed that the paint was in very bad shape on the roof and upon further notice there is a rust hole next to the sunroof and by the back hatch hinge. The roof weatherstripping was flopping around on the passenger side and loose on the drivers side, I pulled them off before they flew off on the road.

On the way back to his place the car started to die at stoplights and stop signs, no check engine light was on. He stated it has been sitting for awhile and it is probably bad gas. I had already paid for the vehicle and transferred the title prior to the trip so I thought it may be okay after filling up with new gas. I left his place and went directly to Autozone and purchased some heavy duty fuel system cleaner, by the way it died in the lot there and the hood release handle came off in my hand. Seemed to be running okay so I headed out back towards Mn. 60 miles later the check engine light came on, was running fine and I was in the middle of nowhere so I kept going.

For the next 3 hours it proceeded to run fine, until I got to Cordele, Georgia. All of a sudden the ABS and EBS lights came on, the car lurched and then the brake warning light came on on the dash and the car went into limp mode, which limits it to second gear and reverse only. I pulled over and tried turning it off and restarting, the brake light went out and I could move about 20 feet before it came back on and back into limp mode. So at 9pm I called for a tow truck, showed up at 10:30 and we towed it to the Chrysler dealer in town, only to find out the next day they couldn't do anything until next week. I had to stay in a hotel that night, find a rental car to drive to Atlanta and fly back to Mpls. Total of almost $500, plus now it will cost me an additional $800 to have the car transported here and it still has to be fixed. Not including the 2 days of my time lost, $150 flight to Florida and I paid $310 for tax and title for a car I still don't have.
