This bogus company took my credit card information, said it was approved, then (THE FOLLOWING DAY)directed me to a page asking for a scanned copy of my drivers license, a scanned copy of the front and back of the credit card, and/or my credit card billing statement.
I contacted my bank immediately, as I have purchased NUMEROUS things on the internet over the years and none have EVER asked for anything like this. My bank advised me not to provide this information. The only reason they can think of for anyone to request such personal info is to steal my identity.
Soft4download.com (AKA http://download-store.net) is roping you in by the promise of cheap downloadable software and then attempting to scam you out of more personal information. Both phone numbers they provide are supposedly 24 hour customer service numbers in the US, but have a very funny ring and go only to an answering machine, not to a real person.
Stay away from this bogus company. They don't answer any of the previous rip off reports that address this issue.

Had my doubts, But i don't beleive they are a scam

I was skeptical of this company as well but choose to purchase software from them anyway. I recieved my email the next day and everything went fine. I have since ordered again and had no problems. I even checked my credit card to make sure no other charges showed up and there were none. I have nothing to do with this company,I just don't beleive they are a scam, at least not from my results.

When I refused to provide them with personal info (drivers license, copy of cc, and/or cc billing statement) they sent me the email I've copied and pasted here. This was AFTER the company that returned a risk score of ZERO on me contacted them to see what was going on.

I have spoke with the company that they are claiming said I am high risk and need my drivers license, copy of credit card, credit card bill, etc.. and he said that they returned a risk score of ZERO to soft4download (AKA Inprof). Soft4download has already charged my card (yesterday) and refuses to give me my software. Soft4download is based in Moscow and is obviously running scams to get personal information.
