Ordered Adobe Acrobat Pro 9 from this company.  Received supposed software from them with a lot of what appears to be Chinese writing all over it.  Tried installing it and the serial number is invalid.  Tried contacting the company but cannot get a response.  Tried for help from Paypal, but none available there.  Apparently ripoffs don't bother Paypal as long as they get their money.  Good thing I paid with a credit card.

PayPal isn't bothered by rip offs in the least. The more something is "your problem", the more they love you.

First, you may have made the error that a lot of people make when it comes to PayPal; that they're an actual financial institution. They're not. They're a pure business, out to make money. Therefore, rules and regulations that normally apply to banks and credit unions don't govern them.

PayPal is internet famous for "customer service that can only be described as "piss poor"... that is, if you can even find a contact number that will get you through to a real, live human being, as they tend to hide such details fairly well. If you're that lucky, be prepared for arrogant reps who will deride your situation, try to make you feel lower than dirt and in some cases, openly laugh at your plight.

You don't have to take my word for it though, go take a look at:

www.paypalsucks.com

Witness the first hand horror stories of people who have gotten the run around, had their funds held at a whim or even had their businesses ruined by PayPal on a site that I think of as "What if Rip Off Report was dedicated solely to PayPal?"

PayPal and eBay are one and the same company, really... and there's a reason for that. I'm $ure you can take a gue$$ at that rea$on, and nail it the fir$t time.
