Software-HQ Fraudulent Business, Scam artist Bradenton Florida

Very missleading, you type in photoshop in the seach engine and they are at the top. Being new to buying online I clicked on the link and a site appears that looks as if it is an official Adobe Website. The first thing I see is "Click here to start down loading Adobe CS4" so I did.

I filled out all the information, even my credit card number. I thought it was for a trial period and if I canceled during the trial period I would not be charged if I didn't like the software. When I clicked to submit, my credit card was charged $70.80 which I have no idea what it is for. When I tryed to download the software it sends me to the real Adobe website, thats when I new I had been had.

I called the company to ask for a refund and was treated very rudely and the woman would not answer any of my questions. She would not even tell me where they were located. I called my local BBB and they directed me to the West Florida BBB where they were very nice. I was told Software-HQ has the worst rating a company can have. Over 21 complaints this year, 22 now, I wish I had know about Ripoff Report sooner, I would not have lost my money.

I hope this report will save anyone from wasting their hard earn money on a scam like this. How can these people remain in operation, isn't there some government office that controlles this kind of deceptive business practice.
