I went online to purchase AVAST! PRO for my daughters laptop. I have been using avast for more than ten years. I typed AVAST into my browser, AVAST appeared, I went to what I know was AVAST website and purchased AVAST pro for a two yeare period of time. I paid through PayPal.

I purchased AVAST via paypal and was expecting to receive a link providing me an avast key code so that I could use to unlock and register avast. I went to the software pro email thinking that avast was using a third party to send out key codes. There was a link provided. I clicked on the link and saw that avast was downloaded as well as several unwanted programs onto my computer. I deleted the programs I did not order or want, then I tried to unlock avast, but there was no key code. I sent a note to avast asking them for a key code and they told me they did not know what I was talking about and to return to the site from where I bought avast.

I was sure I purchased from the avast website, but just to be sure, I sent an e-mail to software pro requesting a key code for the avast software I had purchased. I received an email telling me that my purchase did not include a key code. What I received was avast "free" that I can download for myself from several different sites as well as the avast site, and several junk programs that I did not want or need.

I contacted software pro and requested either a key code or my money refunded. They refused telling me that I had been to thier site and downloaded their programs and that was that. I told them that they claimed my purchase was time limited, if they can time limit my purchse, that I did not want in the first place, except for avast pro, they could cut the services and refund my money. They refused.

I filed a complaint with PayPal. PayPal contacted software pros to try to get them to refund my money. Software pro still refused. I filed a claim with PayPal and am waiting for the outcome.

Stay away from these people. I do not know how I ended up at their site purchasing avast pro. I went to an avast site and ended up at software pro. if you are purchasing anything on the internet, make sure that the place you purchase from is actually the correct party. DO NOT go through a third party.

Pay attention, do not assume that just because you clicked on a specific site that your computer took you to that specific site.

These people are crooks, cheats, liars. If they were legit, when I asked for a refund the same or next day after purchasing, they would have provided a refund.

Stay away from them. If they cheat you, turn them in, report them, do not purchase directly from your credit card, go thorugh paypal.
