my truck's window tint was peeling, I was tired of dealing with the peeling. I decided to look for a professional tint shop/ guy to do the removal and re-tint it. After looking around found Dave Decarli, who's company is called Solar Impressions which use to tint Saturn dealership in Orlando.
I got his number from a friend and set an appointment to get it done. He now does tint out of Audio Revolution at316 East Oak Ridge RoadOrlando, FL 32809. When I got there he started, using a razor blade attached to a handle to scrape off the old tint. First I was a bit scared, and I asked him isn't there another more gentle way of removing that tint, he told me "no due to the glue of the old one". Therefore, I let him do his job since he is an experienced tint guy (WRONG).
After finishing, a month or so later I then realized that there were nasty scratches on all the windows they looked like razor blade scratches. I don't have window tint experience so I thought it was the glue residue, so I schedule an appointment to get him to redo it. Well right when I got there and explained him, he said "sorry I can't fix that, the glass is scratched" and pretty much sent me packing.Subsequently, I spoke with the owner of Audio Revolution and see if he can talk to Dave and get his insurance info to get them to replace all the glass that he ruined. All I got was run around for a good month. He kept claiming that he needed to contact Llumar film which is film supplier.
I kept asking him for his insurance info, and he doesn't want to give it to me. He says the best he can do is refund me the $200 and something dollars that I paid him. So end of the story, I'm stuck with 9 scratched glass and Dave Decarli from Solar Impressions telling me "get off my face, sue me if you can bye bye"

Yes, you did my tint after scratching my glass. Did not want to give me a receipt because didn't want to be in trouble for using a tint too dark. I didn't sue you because it wasn't worth all the fees, trouble, and my time. I will live with all the scratches, but hope karma will get you in the end. I don't go out of my way trying to destroy businesses for no reason, I only try to warn people of the risk they take. Keep on lying and denying it all, I hope karma will deal with Danny from audio revolution or whatever the shop is now called for protecting you and acting like he doesn't remember me coming in.

Well I just had a customer tell me about this post and that he almost didn't show up, but he trusted the dealer in which he bought the car from. This was a few years ago, but I remember him coming in and complaining (because a complaint is very rare) He said I tinted his truck and scratched his glass, I looked at the tint and it was way over the lagal limit, which I will not do. I asked how long ago did I supposedly do this and he said a few months ago, if there were scratches in the glass of my truck I would have brought it back that same or next day! As with every car I do, veryone gets a llumar warranty card showing the date and film installed. I asked for that but he didn't have one. So he left and never heard from him again...
I currently have my own retail shop as well as work for many dealerships in the Orlando area, most for five years or more, which shows my dedication to be one of the best in the area. In closing, the customer who told me about this loved his tint job and will refer his friends and family to me...
