Scam artists who specialize in security and/or surveillance equipment leases. They bring you about $1000 worth of equipment, installation costs extra, and charge $303 per month for 5 years.
Yes, that's about $18,000 over 5 years and you paid for their crap in 4 months. What's worse? You have to jump through ungodly hoops to get out of the lease, even after the 5 years is up.
Why would anyone in authority sign one of their leases? Big kickbacks and commisions. Their "corporate offices" are in someone's house (google satellite photo.) Stay Clear!

I Did Business With Sona- They Stiffed Me for $300+ Dollars

I did business with Sona Financial. Although it was only $300 that I got stiffed for, I was extremely disappointed with how Jack dealt with it. I respectfully called him and inquired as to the status of the invoice...he completely blew me off and said "work with a collections agency to get it cause I'm not paying anything".
Well Jack, $300 wasn't worth the time with a collections agency, but finding out that I'm not the only one that was treated poorly by your company is worth every penny.
I hope that you treat your customers and business partners better now.

Sorry, this is the address on your letterhead. Anyone please, do a google satellite search on this address. It sure looks like a house to me. The "we're a block from whatever" is of no consequence. If it's not a house, you have an office disguised as one surrounded by homes! d**k, I mean Jack. Yeah, I'm a foreigner!

SONA Financial Services. No warning: 10 day window on a 5 year lease or automatic 1 year renewal? It's perpetual! (how's that for a foreigner? d**k, I mean Jack?).I doubt they have any happy customers. Directions,(original lease says, "condition it was delivered") on how to return equipment after lease is up? To them, 5 year old equipment must be like brand new. Return to the original maker and have them "certify" it is in the condition when we delivered it 5 years ago? Option? For a "fee", if you don't want to go to this trouble (it actually says this in the instructions), we will send someone out to "perform" this service for you. The "monitor" they delivered was a "Name Brand TV"; nothing more. We're supposed to ship to 5 year old TV and have them certify it works? A TV you might could pawn for 100$? Contracts can't be changed or deemed invalid (a scam)? What country is Jack from? Reported to the Nevada and Texas Attorney General.

This customer was given every notification their lease was about to expire, and directions on how to return the equipment, as they wanted a Fair Market Option, to keep their payments lower.
There was a significant language barrier, as the person was from a foreign country, and did not understand that contracts can not be changed once they are commenced.
They chose their supplier, and we agreed to provide them financing. We do not allow people to cancel agreements, because "they found a better deal."
We extended them additional time and courtesy and did not take legal action. We answered their complaint from Texas Consumer Affairs, and they concluded we did not violate state law, and acted within their standards.
For the record,we do not operate in "someone's house". We are located in Las Vegas, one half block from the Las Vegas Technology Center, and have been in business since June 1, 1992.
