I purchased merchandise from sonic electronix on October 06 2008. The product worked for about 3 weeks, and just stopped working. I contacted the return and warranty department to notify them of my loss. They told me to test the product at least 3 times, and suggested several different procedures to ensure the product was in-fact not working.

After several calls, circus act, and having to explain to their representative that the product did not work; finally, they agreed to accept the product by giving me an RMA#. I sent the product back on November 19th and received confirmation by email that they received the product on December 4th. I called on December 5th, a Friday, to check the status of the RMA. I was told that once their vender came to pick-up and verify the merchandise, the following Monday, that I would be issued a store credit because product was currently out of stock.

After no word for 3 weeks I contacted them today, December 22nd and asked why I hadn't received the store credit. Their representative stated that I would not be able to receive a store credit because the vendor hadn't picked up the merchandise. Sonicelectronix sent me unreliable equipment, hassled me to the extreme to return the product, now I have waited over 20 days for them to do something to remedy the situation, i.e. send me a working product, refund my money, or give me a store credit; they have failed to do anything.

For over a month, I have pleaded with Joe, said he was unable to give me his last name (Ext 111), to refund my money, send merchandise or give me a store credit; of course he ignored my request and neglected to do anything. Less than 24 hours after filing the ripoff report and sending a copy to Sonicelectronix, via email, I received notification that there was a shipment in progress, really. I can't believe these people were lying to me, stating, the tweeters that I exchanged were out of stock. I can clearly see on there website that they are indeed "in stock", this is rediculous. I received the package Dec 30, and of course I was very disappointed. They sent me back what looks to be the same tweeters, but without the proper hardware to mount them, or the JL audio decals. Horrible, considering I paid 109.00 for JL Audio tweeters. They also failed to send the money order that I sent with the defective tweeters. When calling Joe, one last time, to notify them of the missing hardware and decals he said, "I don't know what to tell you". Disgusted, lying, and trickery are a few words that come to mind when thinking of doing business with Sonicelectronix. I would highly recommend steering clear of these SCAMMERS!!!
