Purchased VAIO with extra installed software. Paid for extra software and four yr warranty. Sony repaired VAIO after accidental damage by replacing hard drive. They reinstalled software with a Restore CD, all trial versions. They did not provide me with Product Key Codes when I purchased the computer, nor did they provide those codes when repaired. I spent hours on the phone between Sony & Microsoft, neither of whom would provide me with the Product Key Codes.
Sony needs to get out of the computer business, and stick to music. I will never purchase another computer from a company who specializes in music, not computers. I suggest anyone else do the same. Do your research before making a computer purchase from any company.
