I bought a new Sony flat screen TV at Best Buys. About 1 week after purchased the TV screen turned blank with only white verticle lines, I called Sony & they set up an appointed the next week with a contracted service company to fix the TV.
The Service company called the day before appointment to cancel because they had to order a part. Waited another week for the service co to fix. One week after fixed the TV go blank with white lines again. I am going thru the same procedure as before waiting because the repair co has to order the part.
I have not been able to watch a brand new TV for no more than 2 weeks. Sony Customer Service has not been helpful at all. This TV is defective and should be replaced.
A Customer should not have to suffer without a TV this much after purchasing the TV brand new and pay the amount of money I paid for it.
I choose the Sony TV over several other brands because I though Sony provided good products with good customer service and support, but I see I was wrong.
I sent an email and filled out a survery with my concerns and no one even bothered to contact me. Their customer service is terrible. They could have aleast responded to me.
This is unacceptable, I bought a brand new Sony TV and it stopped working after only a week, and Sony doesn't seem to care about it's customers.
Buyer's beware SONY does not CARE.
