Sony Sony USA Sony Flip 15a Laptop Sony Flip 15a Laptop Screen Cracks Nationwide
I purchased a Sony Flip 15 from Sony.com in November today I used my thumb to adjust the screen next to a button that is build in and it spider cracked from that location from just pressing on the screen.
I called Sony they will not help said I would have to send it in for them to determine if it was a manufactuing issue which could take 7 days or more. This is even after i told them i have onsite extended warranty. They then informed me i am still under the 1 year manufature warranty and the onsite would actually not start until after the 1 year period. How does that make any sense?
I have owned sony laptops for over 15 years and can say this will be my last and will never purchase another from them. Horrible customer service from Sony and this laptop totally sucks not just because of the screen crack is just heavy and near the mouse pad if you have it on your lap sometimes pressur from below the laptop will make the track pad not work. Oh it also has stupid rubber stands below the laptop to keep it up for cooling if you try to slid the laptop on a desk they fall off and keep falling off.
