Sound and Vision Planet: NO delivery and NO refund of money I paid I have ordered quite large package of CDs last June (in 2008) for almost $400 from the business below:

The order was for delivery via post of three CD set boxes. As advertised on Time Life. Promised delivery time was 4 weeks. The first delivery did not come. After two months and some email correspondence back and forth they promised to resend it. This has not been delivered either. In email correspondence they tried to blame Australian Post.

So I tried than to investigate within Australia Post, but SVP were unable to provide me with any details to enable Australian Post to verify the parcel path. After half a year when I asked for my money back, they responded that they have sent it twice and there will be no refund because: "they would lose money" !!! . 

Unfortunately, at that time, the Credit Card only reversed charges for failed transactions within first six months (that is what I was told after I have given up waiting for the "second" delivery). So now I am out of pocket for almost $400 and with no CDs.  They refused numerous times to refund my money and they keep refusing any investigations to what happened.

They also did not respond to the suggestion that they should file the report with local police because of theft either within their business or at US Mail. Most likely this is what happened, although I have serious doubts that any parcel ever was dispatched from SVP. They have never provided any information from their promised "investigations" with US Mail. 

As the matter of fact the longer I think about it the more I am sure that the Sound and Vision Planet is conducting a scam to rip off people who still trust enough to place the large sum orders. 

It seems to me quite obvious that the tactics of SVP was to extend the uncertainties of the situation to extend the period of me waiting to more than six month to ensure that  any vindication from credit card company, in case I was trying to reverse this charges, would not be conducted.

Therefore, I have decided to place the info about the scam conducted by Sound and Vision Planet and Al Wagennar himself for others to avoid his business and his services. I have done this initially on the Australian rip-off report website.  Unfortunately, this website did not really take off. 

Therefore I am doing it on the original American Ripp-off website for all others out there to be cautious and very careful. Does not matter how good the offer seems like. The business owner, who conducts his business in dishonest manner with one customer, will do it again with someone else. 

SVP disregarded completely their offer for delivering to my home address by post and by blaming US Post Office or Australian Post, without any shred of evidence, they tried to wash their hands from resolving this matter in civilised and honest manner.

We all know that different things can happen to business we conduct. But not taking responsibility for business went wrong and leaving the customer paying the price of serious errors in operating their business is just inexcusable. 

Conclusion:

Avoid ordering anything from Sound and Vision Planet or from Al Wagennar as they proved to be scam artists or at least people with very poor understanding the business rules.
