This company is sending out Auto Factory Warranty postcards claiming your Factory Warranty is about to expire or expired which is a False claim when talking to Dealership/Factory about Auto Warranty that many vehicles still have years on their Warranty are Warning people to stay away from these type of companies in other states.

If you actually read their postcard they have no Factory vehicle information and ask to have VIN# handy when calling is the first clue that if they had Factory Warranty info on your vehicle they would know when Warranty is really expired. Final Notice postcard ,call now to activate, then on other side call by this date, call within 72 hours , offer expires by (Date) is just warning flags popping up all over these type of postcards that really have no idea when your vehicles warranty is actually up. Plus why would anyone buy a warranty from a company that is out of state , has not sent any previous letters (not postcards)that claims it's your FINAL NOTICE, call now or else offer expires just looks like a scam/fraud that consumer agencies warn you not to do business with and report.

When calling the actual vehicles dealership/factory they said to also report the false claims and beware of these type of postcards from out of state companies that you never heard of or did business with before.

WHERE does it say anyone calls a store and make idiotic claims like I already have a bedroom set so this is a SCAM

AUTHOR: Sheesh - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Thursday, March 26, 2009

HELPER, HELPER where does it say anyone called on this SCAM or would sit at home calling any SCAM company?
EXPIRED OR ABOUT TO EXPIRE SOON means just that , but when there is 3 more years on a vehicles warranty and mileage is nowhere near expiring ,How does EXPIRED OR ABOUT TO EXPIRE SOON EVEN COME CLOSE?
Yea right better buy this SCAM now because only have 3 years till expiration.

By the way I do have a Bedroom set already and I don't call any telemarketing a SCAM unless it is a SCAM like this one that states LIES without knowing any vehicle identifying number/info what so ever. Save us the whole worlds going to hell in a hand basket speech and call a SCAM A SCAM.

IN RESPONSE

So, if the card says that it may have expired OR will expire soon DEPENDING ON YOUR MILEAGE, that means it's a scam? IT IS TRUE> Your factory warranty WILL EXPIRE or MAY BE EXPIRING DEPENDING ON YOUR MILEAGE. Or can you not read?
Go ahead, buy a warranty from your dealer. And then when they ask for $170 billion in bailout money, or close 1/3 of their dealerships across the country like Ford, GM, etc, then see where you can use their coverage that you purchased. Good luck to you. You all have no clue what you're talking about.

Do you sit at your house and call the store who sends you a mailer saying "FINAL SALE ON BEDROOM FURNITURE, YOUR OFFER TO GET FURNITURE IS EXPIRING THIS WEEKEND" and tell them "I ALREADY HAVE BEDROOM FURNITURE YOU ARE A SCAM!" Morons.

If the other companies Helper claims to be a scam then why haven't I seen any "FINAL NOTICE" postcards from them?

AUTHOR: Sheesh - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Sunday, March 01, 2009

Nobody I know or I have ever received any "FINAL NOTICES" postcards or any telemarketed warranty mail from ANY of the companies 'HELPER' claims to be more of a SCAM than this Source One "FINAL NOTICE" WARRANTY POSTCARD.

Doesn't "FINAL NOTICE" mean no more notices? Especially with an expiration date and time printed on this guessing when your warranty is expiring postcard (paperwork/dealership confirms 2 more years for warranty to expire and mileage is no where near being expired either), or does it mean something else at Source One? Helper?

HELPER your only fooling your self on your comments about this scam Source One Automotive you didn't do your research

AUTHOR: Sheesh - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Saturday, February 28, 2009

HELPER :"DO YOUR RESEARCH" BEFORE YOU PUT YOUR FOOT IN YOUR MOUTH ABOUT THIS SCAM

warranty is expired or will be expiring
**my vehicle warranty has 2 more years**

"FINAL NOTICE POSTCARD"
**I received 4 of these "FINAL NOTICE" postcards now**

"CALL NOW" "OFFER EXPIRES ON SUCH A DATE" "CALL WITHIN 72 HOURS"
Yeah right this is not a scam like those others you named, huh?

"We don't have any proper vehicles info or vin# , so you need to have it ready when you call our "WARRANTY SPECIALIST"
OK no proper info on the vehicle your claiming in writting the warranty is expired or about to expire, GEE this isn't a scam people ,nooo their just guessing when your warranty is expiring and hoping some SUCKER BUYS IT!

Your only fooling yourself by your comments about what you claim SHEESH didn't do research on. You might want to really read what was on the postcard your were peddling by this scam company that is in the same boat as the other companies you mentioned. Nothing but LIES on this postcard like "FINAL NOTICE" when they sent 4 "FINAL NOTICE" POSTCARDS and it clearly shows expiration date and times. How many FINAL NOTICES does it take before it is a FINAL NOTICE? Duh this is not a scam but those other ones are doesn't work here , "obviously your the one" who didn't do your research before you COMMENTED.

Do yourself a favor before you open your mouth, don't "try" to tell someone else to do their research when your information is THE ONE totally WRONG. And another thing just because another company is doing the "exact" same thing it's not ok for this company to do the same. Excuses for a company you used to work for PLEASE.

In response to the previous complaint.....

Actually, if you READ the postcard, it says that the factory warranty MAY BE expired, or WILL EXPIRE soon, depending on your mileage. The company is there to offer warranty to consumers for more than one reason. There are plenty of rip-off warranty companies out there, but I suggest doing your research before you post things of this nature about a company. For example, US Fidelis, Dealer Servies, National Auto Warranty Services (NAWS), they are ALL THE SAME COMPANY. They have an "F" rating with the BBB and are under investigation with the Attorney General and being sued as we speak. On the other hand, Source One has been in business over 10 years, and has always had a high standing with consumers and the automotive industry alike.
I would assume, since you are posting negative information on the internet about a company you obviously have NOT done your research on, that you are a somewhat capable human being who can read things for yourself, and therefore, can maneuver through a company's Better Business Bureau rating with great ease and comfort.
Here's the poing:
When your DEALERSHIP provides you with Extended Warranty, or an Extended Service Contract, they have previously purchased that same warranty from a warranty company. Then they, in turn, sell it to you, and conveniently add it to your financing when you purchase the car. There are things you are not thinking about. That $2000 warranty from the dealer accrues the same interest rate you are paying for your car. Buying a used vehicle? The warranty that you pay for starts the year the ORIGINAL owner buys the car. For example, a 2007 vehicle purchased today at the dealership, with a 5 year warranty, the warranty is from 2007-2012. You LOSE two years of coverage because you're not the original owner. Most likely, that dealership is also selling you a MECHANICAL breakdown warranty, which, by definition, is limited warranty, only covering mechanical parts, and not electrical or computer failures to the same vehicle. In essence, it covers about 50% of the vehicle.

By purchasing your warranty from Source One Automotive, the warranty starts when you purchase the contract, the warranty is not backdated, and it is not limited, unless your mileage is higher. So you will be getting better coverage, interest-free payments, and can use the warranty at the dealership or service center of YOUR choice. You're not limited to taking it to a dealer. The point of this is, in case you haven't been paying attention over the past year, when your dealership goes out of business, (or in the case of Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and GM and many other manufacturers - the actual manufacturer going down), you can still use your warranty. Buy it from the dealer - and lose your coverage.
So, the choice is up to you. You can get the warranty at the dealer, they can hurry over it and then disappear off of the face of the Earth, or you can get it directly from the warranty company and know that you have coverage. Or you can take a postcard you got in the mail, put it with your offers for free pizza or breadsticks, and throw it away. Just don't let it bother you so much.

Beware Source One postcards Final Notice Warranty Franklin,TN

AUTHOR: Sheesh - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, February 10, 2009

Beware of a postcard from Source One "Final Notice /call to activate now/offer expires on a certain date" , have your vin# and mileage handy to give to warranty specialist. This is another misleading warranty for your car that claims you have a certain time to get a warranty , auto dealerships warn consumers when dealing with companies that make these claims they have no clue or info on your vehicle but are stating hurry up to get a warranty/extend a warranty. If they really knew your warranty is running out then why would they need the vehicle id#? since they do not know the vin# how do they know your warranty is expiring ,since their postcard states " The FACTORY WARRANTY ON YOUR VEHICLE MAY HAVE EXPIRED OR WILL EXPIRE SOON" which in my case is a LIE according to my Warranty paperwork/Auto Dealership I still have 3 more years on the cars warranty.
The Middle Tennesee BBB still has this company rated as a Bt even after showing their false claims on their postcard and read the 17 Failed to complaints on this company when bringing it up on the Middle TN site, but because they are an accredited company who pays the BBB it still gets the Bt rating. So don't be fooled by the Bt rating on the Middle TN BBB site for Source One 113 Seaboard Ln. STE-A190 Franklin,TN 37067.
