Southern Style Cleaning Kim Ward (Husband Devon) This Cleaning Company Scammed me out of $160.00 Internet

What they do is send people into a clean up a hoarding situation and promise to haul it off as part of the price.   In this case they bid $250.00 a day, for 2 people, and this included the price to haul it off.  They said they would bring a big truck to take it away.

At the last minute they told me they hired another guy to haul the garbage off.  They said he would take 2 loads on Saturday and then take the remainder on Monday, because the dump was closed on Sunday.  They were supposed to be there finishing the job (deep cleaning), on Monday, so they would be there when the disposal guy came.

The did not show up on Monday to clean.  When the disposal guy came he had not been paid.  They would not answer my phone calls or texts.  I had no choice but to pay for the disposal guy myself (cash) unless I wanted all of the mess I just paid to get cleaned up left in my house.

They also say they are background checked/drug checked and they are not. The pulled two random guys off of CL the night before and sent them to my house with no protective gear or instructions and paid them 60.00 a day. One of the guys showed up drunk the second morning. The drunk one also told me he was illegal.

The also said they were insured, but showed no proof of it.

I had my mother call them, as if she was a client, because they were avoiding my phone calls.  When my mother asked them why they did not complete the job they became very nasty hurling insults about me, to her, and telling her I lived like a pig and she should know that.  They never gave any explanation as to why they didn't finish.

They still won't answer my calls/texts.  They are running another ad on Craigslist, now, trying to get more people for a weekend job.
